If he goes to Purdue, he'll be a tremendous talent for them. His HC is a college buddy of mine, and Pioneer is one of the premiere small-school football programs in Indiana. It amuses me that a kid from Royal Center (a town so small you can spit from one side to the other) has a profile on here.

Mac, you're insanely correct on this!!! I've had to go to Royal Center a few times for work, not only is it smaller than a black dot on a map, it is literally in the middle of f*@king nowhere!!!!!! I'd like to see the kid earn a school, but it'd be a tremendous pick up for the Boilers!!! If he goes that route......

Hearing you Can add Wisconsin and Northwestern after this weekend.
ND may miss the boat on this guy

Would be a nice addition to any program, and would have no problem with an offer. However, with some of the talent that ND is in on at LB/Rover, I can certainly understand waiting. Keep communicating and inviting him to campus, and go from there.

Yeah, I don't think there's room on the boat for him at the moment, especially if one or two of the safeties with high interest end up playing LB.

Watch; ND passes on this kid to wait for “ bigger fish”. We miss on those guys, come back around to a Jack and of course he has committed to Wisconsin.
Jack becomes the next Luke Kuechly and helps Wisky beat ND in 2020& 2021.

He's about 6'3 215 right now.
Was star of star at track relays throwing shot 55' and winning 100 in 11.0.
Ohio State in contact as well now
Irish may very well miss out on guy in their back yard

In exchange for Okwonu, Henrich, Lytle, or Maguire? Yeah I'm okay with that.

Kiser is better and more versatile than Henrich
I agree, if you can get true 5-star players get em but those guys usually go to Alabama

Edge, are you family or a coach? Asking because you sound invested here.

Either way, welcome aboard. Coached against Kiser, I've never seen someone his size move like he can up close like that before. Kid is athletically gifted for sure, but since he played safety, I did not see enough physicality to know if he could play linebacker.

This is semi-related, but are you guys members over on the Gridiron Digest? I don't post as much as I used to since the forum crashed and they reset everything.

Just a fan of his and ND
Noticed ND was interested
Great article in Miami newspaper from big 7-7 tournament where they noticed him and put him in their "stars to watch" category

Rumors are Iowa and Michigan State in the lead for his services
He will be fine wherever he ends up for sure

Are you close enough to the situation to know if he'd prefer ND if they offered?

Hard to believe he doesn't like Purdue above Iowa & MSU being Dad was a Boiler athlete, it's right next door and Brohm's making noise on the trail.

Maybe Purdue is up there too
May like MSU and Iowa as established excellent defenses

Not sure but fact he has been up there 4-5 times I'd say he is highly interested
Everything I've read says he is a fan of Coach Lea

Of course I guess he was at Purdue quite a few times too.
Probably because both are very close
He attended MSU spring practices as well
Be interesting if Ohio State takes serious look
Penn State Michigan in also now

For his size (6'3 215) he does well all over the track too
54' shot
166' discus
11.0 100
22.5 200

Lea will watch him workout today. And Loy/Wiltfong got in early with CB’s this morning.

Steve and Loy just threw down ND predictions on the crystal ball. Where there is smoke, there is usually fire. I don't think Notre Dame has offered yet, but I'm interested to see whats going on behind the scenes in this recruitment and other linebackers that we seem to be in good position to land.

If they think he can do it, then great. Athletic fit for sure. Just do not think he has played in the box before as he usually plays safety.

Having him practice in front of Coach Lea will be the deciding factor here though, and I will trust the outcome either way.

Wiltfong has been high on him for a while and has talked about him ending at ND for quite a while

I'd love to add him. Those are great testing stats to go along with his crazy numbers on the field (even if against bad talent).

Would love to know his vertical/shuttle scores. He might be able to play 3+ positions.

He's an athletic freak. If he played at Center Grove, Carmel, Warren, Bishop Dwenger, Snider, etc, he'd be a consensus four star. Since he plays at Pioneer and against some of the worst 1A competition in the state...well...but his testing numbers and track numbers don't lie.

People will naturally draw comparisons to Drue Tranquill for the obvious reasons, but having seen both play as HS players, I think Kiser is actually MORE athletic than Drue was at the same age.
