Yes. He, Bertrand and Kiser all are. If Liufau is really a second-day pick, good for him. Go get it, kid.
I don't see it but then I'm not an NFL scout.
Totally. I wouldn’t do it, but NFL teams do a lot of things I wouldn’t do. He needs to go if he’s a take in those rounds.

Appears to be off to NFL (accepted senior bowl. Not a big deal but now we need JD back.

Kiser isn't a NFL player so assume he'll be back.
Unless he’s ready to move on in life, in which case, God bless. But yeah he feels most likely of that trio to return and I think that’d be great.

FYI committing to the play in the senior bowl does not necessarily mean a player is going leave for the NFL draft. Example Michael Pratt has accepted an invite but hasn't declared he is going to go pro yet

I believe the II guys said the rule has changed and this will be the 1st year that Senior Bowl players with eligibility can still opt to go back to school after the game.
Correct. New rule change allows them to play in a senior bowl and still come back.

Was at ND for 5 seasons. Coming off a relatively healthy season, time to test and give it a shot I’d say. If not grad degree in progress at ND.

I wouldn't go with it being that absolute. He said "It's my understanding that Marist Liufau is maybe not going to play in the game..."

I have no problem if a player skips ND’s “worthless bowl” game unless they play in some other bowl. If you skip the bowl so you don’t risk injury, don’t go play in another “worthless bowl”.

Another one who gave it his all. Much appreciated. Can’t remember ever questioning his work ethic.

If he does skip the Bowl for the NFL. All the best to him and I hope he gets selected to a defense that can utilize his talents.
