6. PHIL JURKOVEC
During the week Jurkovec was hovering around third or fourth on this list but the Notre Dame signee's performance in the game started off badly and didn’t get any better. On his first series Jurkovec slipped when he tried to evade the rush and took a big sack on consecutive plays. Later in the game Jurkovec threw to a wide-open receiver down the sideline but the ball hung in the air and it was intercepted. He didn’t complete a pass in the game which was surprising after the week he was putting together. In the practices Jurkovec was one of the more accurate quarterbacks on either team and was completing passes all over the field.
This is kind of BS. 6 of 6 based on 2 series and what 2 pass attempts? He acknowledges during the week he was #3-4. Why can't he grade this incomplete since Phil had hardly any action at all and the OL was dominated the entire game. Lawrence had 2 INTs, a fumble, and 2 sacks (#1 QB though). Daniels had an INT (#2). Useless info here...
