Notre Dame leads for JaMion Franklin

Sir Loy thinks OSU leads

Think ND needs to close the gap or gain a commitment this weekend

Can't let him go elsewhere. Think he is much better than Franklin

Weird that Loy is hearing OSU leads as of today but the PSU mod thinks it's PSU or ND with ND leading

I'm not sure who is more coveted by the staff.

I understand I'm in the minority here and I would love to land both to pair up the the twins. If I had a choice between just the two, I would take Franklin.

PJ IMO is a take no matter what. There are some staffs that think Jayson is the #1 DT in the country.

The answer is all 3 of them are wanted in this class. There is no need to think about one over the other as if there is only room for 2. Do not expect every DT currently on the roster with eligibility stretching into 2018 to back, some might not make it to this fall.

Just my opinion of course.

Could that just be a matter of complacency though? They think PJ is a lock, so they're focusing on locking in DT number 3?

For all we know this could be something akin to a Derrick Allen situation, who was way more committed behind the scenes than he was in public.

That's definitely not the case. PJ is far from a lock.

The attention is on Franklin more right now because Franklin has set a date, that's all.

I was just talking to my friend on the phone and he read me something that Loy said. I'm not sure where it came from, he's a subscriber. Here it is with me paraphrasing.

PJ is an OSU - ND battle unless one school starts looking elsewhere. Mustipher's a good two way player. Is he a Top 100 player? I don't think so. But he's a guy I'd extend a scholarship to.

This was apparently not in response to a question.

What school is going to look elsewhere which in this case means move on? Both are looking elsewhere but he's at the top of both schools boards and each will be in it till he signs on NSD. A commitment will not stop either from recruiting him.

Is he a Top 100 player? I think he is but that's not the point. What's the purpose of downgrading him vs what your company thinks? No one asked.

At least he'd extend an offer to PJ like the staff did long ago and like the best programs in the country have.

Does that comment grind anyone else's gears? I hate that ND has an FSU/SC lover as their 247 guy. Wish the guy at FSU would get a job at Big Lots and move on so Loy would kick rocks to FL.
