When I played back in the day, and from coaches I talked to. If a coach doesn't get on you then he doesn't care about your potential.

When a coach holds you accountable it's because he knows you are better than the way you played.

I don't necessarily like a coach calling someone out but it is what it is.

Granted i never played on national tv but i definitely had my share of coaches yell at me. It's part of the sport. Even worse when your parent coaches you.

"I'm just extremely disappointed in the offensive execution and lack of ability to manage the snapping of the football," Kelly said, "which was atrocious."

He was stating the obvious.

Yes, the snapping was terrible and everyone knows it but did he need to air it out in a press conference? He for sure called out Sam without mentioning Sams name. Just like if he would have said "We threw the ball today and it was terrible" That would be him calling out Kizer without mentioning his name. Why are we even snapping the ball from the shotgun formation in the first place? We couldn't have gone under center and snapped the ball and ran it? The gameplan yesterday was atrocious and like Kelly stated that's on him but per the usual there was no adjustments to do something different mid game.

As to the former players "not liking him" and taking "shots" on Twitter, that's the definition of "bush league" in my opinion. First and foremost because it does nothing to benefit Notre Dame what so ever. It's particularly stupid coming from some guy who didn't do squat on the field or the classroom and failed to graduate. That guy should just enjoy his time in Calagary or wherever he is and shut his pie-hole.

This was actually asked and he stated that they warmed up with Kizer under center and both Sam and him did not look comfortable since they rarely do it and felt they had a better option of success staying with the shotgun. Right or wrong, they did look at both and made a decision. Addressing the shotgun question not why so many passes.

IMO they had some bad snaps as well but not nearly as many as we had. Off the top of my head I can remember two where Kizer didn't even get the ball and four others where he did a good job to snag the ball from over his head.

This is my thought as well. He is a 5 star athlete. I am sure he has had a coach get in his face when he messed up and it should not be an issue. I do not believe Mike Frank's assessment on anything BK related because he has made it pretty obvious (or at least it seems that way to me) that he wants BK gone.
