he was suspended for the fiesta bowl
This is what I meant by trouble. I think he was more just not dialed in and wasn't focused, not necessarily that he had off the field issues.

Looks like he played 4 games this year which
Means he can redshirt
He may have only had receptions in 4 games but he participated in at least 10 games
Kevin Austin time.
Yep. I'm excited to see what he can do if he's locked in and stays out of trouble.
Looking for a BIG spring game from him, Young, and one of Keys/Lenzy to get the hype train going on these young WRs.
Austin will be special. After him, I'm most excited for Lenzy.
Agreed. If he comes anywhere close to Fuller (one can dream) and Stepherson (w/out the drama), I will be ecstatic. We really missed the skill set that those two gave this offense this season.
That's why Boykin leaving was such a mixed bag for me. He was easily our most productive receiver and a great talent..but I'm excited for what the ceiling can be with this offense with speed on the perimeter that we simply didn't have with Boykin and Claypool both on the outside.
I would have loved Boykin to stay IF they split him and Austin up.
Austin + Boykin/Finke/Keys + Lenzy/Claypool would be my lineup.
I think Austin has 1,000 yard potential next year but they gotta get him touches
I was disappointed in how little we saw Michael Young this season.
I don't think he's as fast or dynamic as Lenzy or Keys can be, but I don't think he's that far behind either. I also think he is a very underrated blocking receiver. He's got wheels but he's also not just a willing blocker, but surprisingly very good at it. We need that.
I hope Finke's role in the offense is like Renfrow's next season. Not a starter, but he's still part of the rotation and sees a good amount of throws. But we need to really bump up our athleticism and speed at the position. If that means seeing more Austin, Keys, Young and Lenzy, so be it.

Are you down on Young? What’s your impression of him? I think he has shown flashes of great potential minus the turnovers. He hit some big plays here and there throughout the season.
After watching tonight’s game it is obvious the speed of our WRs has to improve. It was like having small TEs out there with Boykin and Claypool. You can just tell that Austin is football fast and fearless.
I'd bet Book mysteriously is able to throw the long ball overnight as soon as the OL holds up and we start playing some of the speedier WRs that can actually get down field and separate.
To anybody that thinks this is true, I’d suggest trying to watch an All-22. Or just read ISD’s breakdown where they highlight some of it.
Again, watch the All-22 or read some insight from someone that has.
A lot of offense left on the field with clean pockets and WR’s with separation, that’s all.
they'll likely say the same thing about Bama and Tua.....
and Bama has a top OL and speed at WR...
just saying.
Not sure I get your point?
