One thing that is extremely consistent though is that every site is mentioning ND as a major threat. I think we are the only school that is mentioned in every update. If Quinn lands this guy he will have a three year GBdomer leash where you won't here me say a bad thing about him. Also would have to give major props to Denson

Why does landing NPF give Quinn a three year leash? Let's see what he can do with him once he's on campus before we give anyone a get out of jail free card or two.

I was referring to myself because I hated the hire but I'm saying I won't Bitch about him if he can land NPF. You can say whatever you want about him

Football Scoop is reporting Greg Schiano to be NE’s new DC. Can’t become official until Patricia is officially Detroit’s coach.

IMO, the fact that Schiano will/might leave for the Patriots (or any other job) will have absolutely zero effect on NPF's decision. It's not like he's his position coach or OC.

Instead, the Schiano relationship is a plus for pOSU in that he is someone that NPF probably trusts. So when Schiano tries to sell all of the reasons why NPF should come to pOSU, he will give his opinion extra weight. None of that changes if Schiano decides to move on.

Maybe. Christian at ISD said OSU will be virtually out of it if Schiano leaves, for what it's worth.

Still betting that those crystal balls are based upon very limited information. Wiltfong's best guess is now pOSU, but I'm guessing he would still say, it wouldn't surprise me if he signed with Florida or ND.

Glass half full - often times numerous CBs are just piggybacking off of one changing.

Who was the first to CB to OSU today, possibly triggering all of them?

Sounds like the plan was for NPF to have a decision today, and let the coaching staffs know as soon as he made it. So at some point, these CB's with no details, will be the recruitniks hearing the decision but not explaining it. Not saying that is taking place here, but it would seem logical that we'll get a run on CB's for guys without explanations. This very well could be that.

Josh Newberg appears to be the 1st one today. FSU Insider - originally had Florida a couple weeks ago.
