Don't you be like that... spill it!

Chris Murray is our best chance of the three. Stanford is still my pick.

Solomon and ASB both go to USC.

The visit went as well as it could've. More will be known as the week wears on but I wouldn't be surprised if ND was talked about less and less as the weeks move on.

Again, this is my opinion, but it shared by a few others that know more than I do.

I think our only shot here is if Helton is fired and no big name coach like Harbaugh the Elder or Gruden is hired in his place

I have a feeling if they fired Helton that USC would get a home run hire. They've gone too long without one.

Here's the issue. Who is looking for a job and wants to go to a program who fires a coach after winning a Rose Bowl and starting the season 6-2? Those expectations would scare off smart coaches. They need two consistent poor season before they can seriously entertain the idea of letting Helton go.

The quotes from Murray's mom were quite strong but it is recruiting and he could of course end up elsewhere.

I have complete faith in Lynn Swann completely muffing up the next hire.

Having said that, I cant see Helton getting fired.

These are the type of updates I love to hear after a big impressive win. Top end players that didn't have ND at the top now may be rethinking that.

i like these updates. I love the commitment updates.

The Rams are in 1st, the Chargers are playing in soccer stadium, the Lakers got ZoBall and the Doyers are in the World Series.

Don't nobody got time for that tired old pro team from the 2000's, the Trojans

SC is dead. If you don't believe me ask the 70,000 fans not in their seats at kickoff of the Arizona game after they come back from AZ with an L from Sparky.

USC would have to completely collapse for that to happen only a year removed from a Rose Bowl berth (barring a Sark-like situation). At which point it would be moot point anyway, since that'd be reason enough for their recruits to bail.

Freebie from Rivals

https://notredame.rivals.com/news/father-of-rivals100-lb-solomon-tuliaupupu-offers-thoughts-on-irish-visit

Notre Dame made a big move with Rivals100 inside linebacker Solomon Tuliaupupu during his official visit this weekend.

Tuliaupupu, a Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei product, had always talked about visiting Notre Dame, but it wasn’t exactly clear how involved the Irish were in his recruitment prior to the trip.

However, coming out of the trip, it’s clear that Notre Dame will be a player for the four-star going forward.

According to Tuliaupupu’s father, Turnbull Tuliaupupu, taking the visit to Notre Dame was important to him and his son.

“It was important to go out there and see that,” Tuliaupupu said. “It was about building that relationship, and it was more important than anything to get out there. They’re actually one of the schools he’ll be considering really close.”

Hearing about Notre Dame, Tuliaupupu said, is one thing, but actually being on campus is a whole different animal.

“They made a big impression on him,” Tuliaupupu said. “They emphasized the fact that it was good that we came out and actually got to experience it. A lot of times people say they know Notre Dame, but it’s only second hand, but to go there and actually experience it is indescribable.”

During the trip, Tuliaupupu met with linebackers coach Clark Lea and defensive coordinator Mike Elko to talk about where he’d fit in the Irish defense, which his father said was the huge part of the trip.

"I know one of the highlights of his visit was being able to see the scheme that they’re running,” Tuliaupupu said. “And to hear how much Notre Dame has evolved since the changeover with the guys that are there.”

Of course, the biggest highlight of the trip was getting to be inside Notre Dame Stadium for the Irish’s huge win over USC.

USC is one the schools that are heavily involved with Tuliaupupu, so most would assume Notre Dame blowing the Trojans out would stick out.

However, the elder Tuliaupupu said Notre Dame could have been playing anyone and they still would have been impressive.

“I don’t think it was so much about how they dominated, it was just the type of play,” Tuliaupupu said. “That was pretty impressive. They play a smash mouth type of football, have a good defense and the offense is really good.”

The play from the team was impressive to be sure, but Tuliaupupu said what really caught his son’s eye was the energy from the Irish fans.

“We were more in tune with the environment, the crazy crowd and all that,” Tuliaupupu said. “It’s an experience. There’s so much tradition. Just to see all of that was pretty cool.”

Said he really liked how ND looks at things outside of football. Likes how they turn kids in to men and prepare them in case football doesn't work out. Also added ND is recruiting him extremely hard.

Correct on Polian. Is planning officials to Ohio State, Oklahoma, and Washington. Still undecided on Oregon and won't official to SC due to proximity.

Last I've heard "ND was recruiting him hard"... What's been going on here? Backing off to focus on other position groups?

Huh? We are really going after him

That's why I used a question mark...

I just thought it was interesting how there's been little to no updates for a couple of weeks for a guy that apparently has great interest and that we're recruiting hard.

There was an update from yesterday just above your post.
