"While at Notre Dame, me and Lennay remained completely abstinent"
Fvcking gold
"While at Notre Dame, me and Lennay remained completely abstinent"
I know one guy that thinks ND is currently in better position to get the commitment than USC. He's not a recruiting guy or a beat reporter, but he's heard something that makes him think ND is in the driver's seat... but he won't say what it is.
I think everyone who believes ND can pull it out is suffering from JuJu Smith Schuster Syndrome, but I'm just a random dude on the internet, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

To put it simply, Clark Lea and Brian Polian left a big impression. <a href="https://t.co/ZYqdyf7Wtt">https://t.co/ZYqdyf7Wtt</a> (VIP) <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/IrishBouND18?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#IrishBouND18</a> <a href="https://t.co/ks1jumJSvm">pic.twitter.com/ks1jumJSvm</a></p>— Tom Loy (@TomLoy247) <a href="https://twitter.com/TomLoy247/status/956906886040866816?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">January 26, 2018</a></blockquote>

– I caught up with, Turnbull Tuliaupupu, the father of 2018 CA LB Solomon “Solo” Tuliaupupu. Solo was expected to take a official visit to Oklahoma this upcoming weekend. His father says that there has been a “change of plans” and they will no longer visit. Turnbull did say that Oklahoma is now “unfortunately, out of the mix”.
That would be a sick LB class. Just Sol and Lamb alone would be beastly.
Solomon looks absolutely huge.
If we somehow land Solo, it would certainly be one of the better LB classes of the recent recruiting era (rivals, scout, etc.).
"“So, like any father, I asked Clark the tough questions,” said Turnbull. “My questions were, how will you use him, who's coming back, who leaves, what are the chances he starts as a freshman. I asked all that. Lea is just standing there in the living room and he looks at me, comes over to me, and says, ‘do you mind?’ and I said no. He actually grabs me physically to show me how he will use Solo. He’s moving us around, while he’s standing there and showing us how he’ll coach my son and how he’ll use him. It was amazing."
I guess hitting on dad is one way to gain favor, lol

Whoever gets PooPoo wins the 2018 LB Haul Championship.
If SC adds him to:
5* IE Gaoteote
4* Kanai Mauga
4* Ray Scott
... they get the crown.
I wouldn't trade ND's 4 for their's but as for 247, they'd be the winner.
To be clear, what you are saying, and I agree with, is that if we land Pupu we will have one of the highest rated LB classes in recruiting history, yes? Or at least in the modern era?
how will you use him, who's coming back, who leaves, what are the chances he starts as a freshman.
What does he play in our LB system? Buck? Mike?
Unlikely he starts over Coney or Tranquil, obvs, but they’ll be gone in 2019...
For both Lamb and Solo, should he come to ND. I feel pretty confident in saying to either, you won't start as freshman, but will get playing time. Work hard over the next 1-2 years, and you will more than likely start as a Sophomore. 2 years of starting snaps on the table, which gives you the NFL option after your Junior season.
Lets say this is accurate (which I agree, it is), what does USC offer in regard to those same questions?
