Can't believe I'm doing this as I agree with that he is generally a douche. However, I get this update in the context that he's been asked about this consistently on the board. Therefore, some level of responsibility to give the readers what they want. Plus, Texas 247 has been saying they are in consistent communication with him and firmly believe they get an OV.

I don't care about the info, but his presentation was clearly a click bait attempt that meant to scare people and make them think a decommitment was possible. He could have just said "Big recruiting update on Adebo" and nobody would have said anything. But that's not his style. His style is straight douche.

unfortunately this is how alot of journalism works online these days. page clicks are the only way to value their content. It's the Buzzfeed generation.

Haters will always find something to cry about. Good, justified update. Glad to hear he doesn't plan to visit Texas.

Weird that it's always him we are complaining about... I'm sure that's just a coincidence.

Don't really think title is click-bait-y at all, TBH. Like Lucky said, Texas 247 has been reporting for awhile that he's going to visit there and they seem to imply he'll flip.

was asked about rumors of him visiting texas and if stanford offered "I'm only planning on taking an official visit to Notre Dame," said Adebo.--247

"It was a great game," said Adebo. "Disappointed we didn't pull out the victory, but I'm excited to be able to play in a game like that." then said GO IRISH

He has a superior vocabulary compared to most recruits.

Com·mit·ment
kə'ˈmitmənt
noun

1. the state or quality of being dedicated to a cause, activity, etc.
"the company's commitment to quality"
synonyms: dedication, devotion, allegiance, loyalty, faithfulness, fidelity
"her commitment to her students"

2. an engagement or obligation that restricts freedom of action.
"business commitments"
synonyms: responsibility, obligation, duty, tie, liability.

Awesome. He's an advocate, not a commit.

He probably figures he can start next year at ND after how poor the secondary played.

This is an example of a post that doesn't follow the guidelines we recently reiterated. Does not include a linkback to the article, does not correctly attribute the author, and ultimately is too much "copy and paste" of work product. I'm leaving it up for the next 24 hours as an example of what not to do. We're not screwing around with this stuff.

Guidelines are here for anyone that missed them: http://www.irishenvy.com/forums/not...-posting-guidelines-everyone-please-read.html

Nice to get perspective from an inbound commit on whether or not a loss to the home state team would be a factor in his decision and should serve as a reminder to us fans that we should ALL take a step back after an L and realize the sky isn't falling

Also glad to see him being an advocate for the cause as someone else had previously pointed out

I'm a little bummed. Went to his Twitter page to check on scores and stats and saw he followed UT's WR coach and Stanford's recruiting director the day before he said in the media he's only taking an OV to ND.

To be continued...

Think it's going to be a battle to keep him, but boy do we need too! Great player and big need

He had a lot of great things to say about ND in an interview his week with Scout. He will OV for Stanford.

Jamie at ISD called him a blue chip prospect when he committed. Seems like the kid has only gotten better, which is good. I just hope that the next DC can play into his strengths.

Even if ND doesn't land an industry Top 10 CB, Adebo is the kind of prospect that has the physical tools to become a star at ND. He's almost as big as Vaughn and almost as fast as Pride. That's a lethal combination.

I wish they would have made a run at his teammate, RB Kennedy Brooks. OU got him this month and he slots in behind Trey Sermon in their class. I think he's way underrated and will tear it up on Saturdays.

I think that in a few years a good look for us on D would be Adebo and Vaughn at corners and Love at Nickel.

I agree. Even though the ranking/industry hasn't adjusted, yet, there are a lot of folks that think he's a top 100-150 type DB prospect. Actually somewhat surprised it hasn't been reflected yet in his rankings. Wiltfong and other 247 guys, have been all over this kid for a few months now. Folks down in Texas and the surrounding region, love this kid.

Signing both Adebo and Graham would be incredible, after last years haul.

Notre Dame commit Paulson Adebo visiting this weekend

remains firm in his pledge, noted ND was his leader ever since they offered...he liked oklahoma and tcu early but once ND offered it was over...he only plans to official to ND...

Might be a better question for the master list thread, but do you think that if nd continues to lose (which is sadly probable) this class will implode? Haven't really heard about anybody not being solid, other than maybe pouncey, but a sub .500 year could change people's minds.

I've noticed that recently we've been pretty good at keeping commits on board, with a very small number of defections. It's a big contrast to the earlier years of kelly-era recruiting, when recruits like darby and greenberry come to mind. It seemed like those classes inevitably fell apart after the season.

Or maybe the question is will there be enough room for recruits that see ND as a place they can come in and compete with guys who aren't that far ahead of them on the experience curve? Like anything else you can sell, there are features and benefits to every product/service/situation. All it takes is a better tailored presentation than the other programs. I'd love to be out on the road selling spots at ND right now.
