I rarely make these type of predictions, but a while back I said I think he may turn into another Chris Zorich. His film reminded me so much about Chris.
I thought people really liked his junior film?

White guy comparison alert. 🚨
Zorich is mixed. Ha

So cool! I have 4 daughters and know what this means to them. Hinish is my new favorite player.
Definitely deserved.I just wanted to give the big guy props on probably the best game of his career against Syracuse. Kudos on your play Kurt!

Kid is ascending fast. I actually think our D Line will be even better next year.
I think a lot of that is dependent on what some defensive ends decide to do.

Absolutely. They will all be back unless Hayes goes crazy and transfers
Hinish had very high praise for how advanced Lacey is with his technique and is just as impressed with his work ethic.
“He is incredible. He has great hands. He has good feet. He’s one of those guys who will always stay after with me and work extra stuff because he wants to get better.”
Cross turned some heads in practice on Saturday and he’s earned attention from the older guys on the D-line as well.
“He has a great get off. Probably one of the best get offs from our defensive line all-around. He penetrates the offensive line better than I’ve ever seen from any freshman.”

Also had some positive notes on the younger guys:
Man I seem to recall at the beginning of his recruitment, that Hinish was regarded as the lesser of the Central Catholic duo. David Adams unfortunately was never able to play, but Hinish has been a contributor since day 1. Do we think he takes the free 5th year?
Absolutely. Hopefully MTA does enough this year to get drafted and opens up space for Lacey and Ademilola.
