There have been rumblings on the Vol boards that HJ committed to the coaching staff over the phone on Saturday and will go public on Sunday.

Everyone knows that Vol fans are low-down dirty snitches, though, so take it for what it's worth.

While I would be willing to wait to see how well both teams do this year before pulling off the band-aid...yes they need to start looking at other options. I honestly don't know what USC says to all the highly rated QBs to keep them in the fold year after year but I would.

Kinda like a lot of fans who guaranteed Urbie would be ND some years back....

Believe it or not, Gruden was indeed very interested in both UT and Ark. Went so far as Gruden looking at houses in the Knox area and spoke to a bunch of the asst coaches. Gruden's wife either went to Tenn or is from the area, or both... can't remember the whole story. Ark put on the hard press too and was ready to make him the highest paid SEC coach.... From what I understand both schools got to the level of negotiations with him. Could have just been trolling to get more money out of the network...
