Agreed. I don't have a big problem getting Hawaiian boys on the defensive line, if possible.

Aloha,

Myron is regarded as one of the best if not the best DE in the state. Good size strength smarts and motor. Played his best games against good offensive tackles.

Aside from football kid is deeply rooted with God and his family.

I really like this kid. If we can redshirt him and then get Kona Schwenke junior and senior year play from him this will be a great pickup.

A lot of moving parts here, so I'm not extremely confident one way or another, but I'm not entirely sure he RS's. If he does, that's probably a good sign that Elko likes what we have already on the roster. I think we'll see some position changes and positive developments here. But if Myron puts in the work between now and fall camp, he could certainly push for time. Some solid options but not a lot of proven production.

this pickup for USC likely left Myron without a committable offer from them.

Huge pickup, the combination of him and Ewell at DT is the best DT class since Day and J. Jones of the 2012 class.

Missing on CB is not good, but I think the team definitely got better in the trenches with our OL, TE, and DT classes
