He has been getting noticed since late last year...he will be drafted and was considered likely to leave...not a shocker here

yea i thought he was accepted a senior bowl invite too, which was all but basically code for i'm gone?

You guys seriously thought Ade was going to come back for a 6th year?

Not sure he could have boosted his draft stock more than it is right now. Not sure if he'll get drafted but I'd bet on him getting on a practice squad somewhere.

Not code. Just straight up saying it. Once you accept the senior bowl invite you're gone bc senior bowl players are compensated.

How long did you think he was going to stay at ND?

This is what's hard to understand. Late round draft grade and can improve his stock.
I'm all for going to the pros but the Bama's, Clemson, OSU get kids with early to mid round grades to come back.
How do they do it?

Mea culpa, I thought he had another year to show off. Was really looking forward to an AA season. Without him and Banks, I'm not as Pollyanna as I was --- gotta hope hard for a few younguns to shine like JOKs and Hamilton quality studs. Not impossible but now it's more unknowns than knowns.

If not for Covid Ade wouldn’t have any eligibility remaining. Thinking about it like for his situation. Also I have seen Ade in a few mocks with him being a late 1st round prospect. Kiper has Ade listed at the #5 draft eligible DE. It’s not like Ade is to become a UDFA or late round selection. He most likely will be a day 2 selection. He used his 5 years of eligibility there is really no reason for him to come back for a 6th year because the NCAA decided to give all athletes an extra year.

Punctuation would be nice senior bowl...

6043 height. The fuck does that mean? I assume it's supposed to be 6'4.3" ? But I honestly have no damn clue. I would think he's taller than that.

Wingspan of 85.38", I'm guessing? That's a freaking seven foot wingspan.

Metric system. He’s 6043 MM tall. 19 feet tall is a bit surprising but should help him in the draft.

I think it's 6'4 and 3/8 of an inch. That's what I recall from previous years, though that could be the NFL combine's method of measuring instead

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Appreciate this “lift” maneuver from Ade Ogundeji versus Dillon Radunz. From behind you see the upper body strength to press inside arm and open the gate to work back across face. <a href="https://t.co/zLcMDZNjPJ">pic.twitter.com/zLcMDZNjPJ</a></p>— Kyle Crabbs (@GrindingTheTape) <a href="https://twitter.com/GrindingTheTape/status/1354283392435679232?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">January 27, 2021</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">This is officially an Ogundeji fan account. He is sure to get the conversation going about how tall is too tall for a DE. His draft stock might come down to bench press reps at the combine, assuming they can find a bench that long...

There is no combine this year. Only Pro days with limited NFL staff in attendance.

A good work for Ade at the senior bowl could push him into the late 1st round mix.
