They showed that angle at the very end of the delay and my wife and I said his left foot didn't hit the ground (the other angle they showed several times it looks like his foot hits the ground). I should note that the award DOES say more about the man than the school, but Notre Dame doesn't hurt the qualities of the exceptional man who attends here. FWIW: there are other schools with more than one candidate this year (Clemson, Utah State, and Mississippi State each have two; Stanford has three.) One fellow, the Ozzie rugby player, did not even live in the US to go to college --- kudos to him for the commitment to community.
