Ugh, no offense to Greedy Williams, but the people who are just looking at stats are going to vote for him over Love.

I've long felt that stats against FCS opponents shouldn't count. One of his interceptions came against SELA. Not that it would affect his numbers much, but those voting based on stats alone would have a better idea.

My thought is, he won't win it because ESPN has a hard on for the SEC.

huh? the stats I saw, or thought I saw were very much in favor of Love. IIRC, he almost had double the Ts, and a sizable advantage in PBUs.

It you just look at INT's, both Greedy and the other guy have 2 and Julian has 1. But Julian is way ahead of the others in most other categories.

I thought the voting determined the winner.

The 6-0/235 lb DE from Northern Illinois was first team. Nuff said.

Completely agree. I was talking about interceptions because the people who are probably voting are probably watching the SEC games and will rate interceptions higher than PBUs. We all know that Love is a badass who is the best in the country.

If Lawrence is given enough time, Clemson certainly has the speed to make us pay.

Our secondary is good so hopefully our DL helps them out. Clemson seems to thrive off the big play. They are 2nd - 3rd on plays between 20-50 yards.

We are 4th-8th on limiting plays between 20-50 yards.

Unstoppable force, meet immovable object. Something will have to give on the 29th.
