When did you decide you were going to college? I would like him to make a signing day decision but if you are a high profile athlete and have the ability to choose and take your time... why not
the kids from Georgia, grew up in Georgia, and now needs until after signing day to visit...Georgia?
LOL
According to ISD, he's expected to go past NSD, but there is some doubts that he will even take the UGA visit. Sounds a lot like he's waiting for the test scores back to determine if he visits Stanford or signs with ND.
I guess I'm just confused why he has this obsession with Stanford when he has never visited. That's like me saying Germany is my favorite country in the world. (I've never been to Germany). Doesn't make sense.
Stanford is objectively the best school academically in college football. Unlike Duke, Vanderbilt, etc... they've been competing for conference championships and 10+ win seasons for the last 5 years. Really is a pain in the ass for ND since usually we can claim that we have the best combination of football and academics in the country
So why should ND wait around to see what happens?
Why doesn't ND say either you sign tomorrow or you can't be apart of this class. Then the kid has to decide if he wants to take the sure thing or wait for Stanford.
I'm not advocating they do that but throwing it out there. Do you see that as immoral? Honestly don't have an opinion yet, but curious as to what everyone thinks.

This seems like the dumbest route to take possible if you are ND. ND has been recruiting this kid for two years I am sure they will give him one more week. Just let this thing play out, he's an extreme long shot to get into Stanford per everyone.
Whats so different about Stanford vs. Notre Dame?
That Georgia poster on Under the Dome insists that Demetris really wants Georgia and that ND is only his brother's idea. The guy implies that he has some special knowledge of the situation, but I'm inclined to think it's really a Stanford/ND race based on what you guys are telling me.

That Georgia guy is totally clueless.

This is a 5* difference maker in this offense, no offense to him but it's not like they are waiting on Gehrig Dieter
Why? ND never gets to the 85 man limit, DR is supremely talented - maybe the most talented kid we are recruiting, and it's only a week after NSD. I see no upside whatsoever in forcing his hand.
I don't see it as immoral in the right situation, but I don't see this as even being close to that type of situation. Get this kid to ND even if he doesn't sign until March 1st.
I think it's a f&*%king stupid idea considering how bad we need him. There is nothing wrong with a recruit taking more time. The coaches have told him how bad he's wanted.
They won't be any less happy if he chooses ND in two week or tomorrow.
