I’m sorry, and might be late to this, but he did get arrested again? Looks like so on Friday night.

Sure does seem like he was. That’s unbelievable. Looks like he was booked Friday night and released on Saturday. Go to scanwc.com, register, and look at their jail bookings.

He needs to leave ND. No more hanging out with Dex, no more anything. This kid needs to get himself some help an ND needs to distance themselves.

He already cost CJ Holmes his Notre Dame career.

I've lived in Northern Indiana my entire life and I have no idea what is in Whitley County (Columbia City area, a city in-between Warsaw and Fort Wayne). This kid needs some help and some guidance in life.

This is the way his name is listed in the booking

KEVIN TRYONE BRUCE STEPHERSON, JR

I think his middle name is actually Tyrone. But I couldn't help but laugh when I say Tryone. Maybe he should change his name to Trythree.

What kind of charge is visiting a common nuisance? Lol is it like coming to see the skunks that keep digging up a persons yard?

In the cities you normally see it in prostitution areas. So this must be a know drug house or a lot of drone is committed there.

So cops were sitting on a drug house and they got him leaving (or busted it and he was there)? What a stupid fuck.
Also why do these guys need to drive an hour into the sticks to buy their weed? When I lived in South Bend there was plenty of drugs a lot closer to home.

I live in Columbia City. I actually heard about this early yesterday morning from a buddy who works intake at the WCSO. He was likely traveling on US 30 coming from Fort Wayne. I can tell that he must not be from the area because the cops (state, county, city) all patrol this section of 30 pretty hard due to a lot of drug trafficking from Chicago/Detroit/Ohio that rolls through the area, as well as a large number of semi-truck/passenger vehicle accidents. I’ve lived here for 8 years and they’ll at least pull you over to establish cause to search for even traveling 2-3 over the posted speed.

Also, according to Indiana code, a “Visiting a Common Nuisance” charge does not just apply to dwellings. It can also apply to vehicles that are being used to unlawfully use a controlled substance. Basically they tack this on any time they bust anyone on possession in a “private” entity. When they bust kids for underage drinking, you often see this charge tacked on, as well.

All that aside. hope KJ gets some help.

I'm all for second chances and the like... but at this point he needs to be on a plane back to Florida. To be in as much hot water as he's in and continue getting himself in trouble just blows my mind.

True.....but you should hope that the upperclassmen would help look out for the frosh, not support their criminal intentions
True, but at the end of the day we need to verify responsible for our own actions.

Yes. And CJ Holmes is, by outward appearances anyway, taking responsibility for his actions and will suffer the (rather severe, IMO) consequence of being kicked off the football team and, presumably at some point, losing his scholarship to the University of Notre Dame.

But Kevin Stepherson, I would think, could have put a stop to the whole affair if he'd simply said 'Nah, bruh, I know we're tired of Under Armour but let's just get our sweatpants at the Gug." He didn't. That's what I meant.

Anyway, at this point the guy seems like nothing but trouble and probably should move along.

On a side note, this thread and Jalen Guyton's thread are the only two player threads I've ever started. Guess it's a sign.

This is from about an hour ago from a WNDU reporter. Does this sound like he got arrested again like today? Or is it referring to his one a couple days ago? Its Fulton county and not Whitely like the last one.

Has there been anything wild - ie - crime sprees, murders, etc? The only reason I ask is because Stepherson's behavior reminds of the protagonist in Crime and Punishment. After committing some terrible crime, people tend to lose their orientation and irrational behavior ensues.

To be clear, I'm not saying this happened but I wonder if Stepherson has undergone some type of recent trauma? Did he lose someone he loved? Did he do something that his psyche can't process? Or is he really just that irresponsible that he's willing to throw away a potential NFL career to get high?

He's obviously going to be kicked out of school, he's likely going to have real jail time now and depending on the length, he may even miss the upcoming season (assuming some program would've accepted him - cough: Oklahoma cough).

There must be something, right? Like something has to be going on his head. Normal people don't F up this much in such a short period of time.
