I did not drive a '71 primer gray Nova with air shocks nor did I play in a Ratt cover band. Innocent! But great call on the BK's though... haven't thought about those since MC Hammer got stale.

Didn't backread through all of the post on this over the last few days, so I apologize if this has been brought up. I have no idea if Steperson will be shown the door, but don't you begin to run the risk of him influencing Kevin Austin, or Micah Jones. His boneheadedness seems to know no bounds, and while I think that CJ will get another chance, I am not sure that Steperson has earned another chance, nor do I think that ND can afford to give him one.

To give him another chance is detrimental to his future. He needs to learn there are consequences for your actions. He's been shown leniency for past infractions but now he'll see what happens when you cross the line in the sand.

Hopefully it serves him well at his next stop and focuses him on getting his degree.

Being a realist, this actually came at a good time.

Stepherson has been a thorn in BK’s side for over a year now and if getting in trouble once again wasn’t bad enough, he took a true freshman in CJ and provided zero leadership in helping CJ make a Better decision.

I doubt if CJ was shopping with Love he would have felt comfortable enough to steal anything.

Not at all implying that KS can’t learn from this and move on with his life... but good time to cut the cord with ND so both parties can make decisions best for themselves.

Kid seemed to be working through the issues he already had...which was awesome to see. That TD catch he had against SC, and the triumph...man that was special for a number of reasons.

Seems like he will have another one of those triumphant moments, but somewhere else. I hope he goes to someone like Herm Edwards...seems like he would be a guy who could finish the molding process.

If I'm BK, I don't even let it get to the "University" to decide what happens. I kick him off of my team ahead of that to let him, the players, and the school administration I'm serious about respectable behavior.

I agree. I was surprised that BK stated he saw no reason to dismiss him prior to the bowl game. I understand both sides of it, but I certainly don't want him back on the team. So why no do it now, and get the attention of the team. We are not here to F around. We are here to beat LSU.
