Check the Caleb Kelly thread Koon, more like the second time you've been wrong today lol.
you guys do realize that he was for the first time happy to be wrong, not wrong for the first time. Unless you guys are just making fun, in which case go ahead idc haha

That's a good catch, but I meant this the other way. I was of course being facetious and anyone who didn't recognize that needs to go to joke school.
After reading your pun thread, it's apparent you flunked out of joke school. just messin'

Perry: "Perry has excellent size with a thick frame that could allow him to grow into a 4-3 linebacker. In the Irish defense he is an ideal fit for the strong safety and nickel positions. Perry gets downhill with authority and looks more comfortable the closer he gets to the line of scrimmage. He will have to work on keeping a better base and playing lower when he is about to engage, but Perry hits with authority."
The reps are there for him at safety and LB this spring. Only 5 scholarship linebackers healthy (Onwualu, Morgan, Martini, Bilal & Barajas) and only 3 scholarship safeties (Redfield, Fertitta & Williams).
You forgot about Studstill. I would also add Hayes at LB but not sure if he's all healed up...
Listened to the extended power hour and both Jamie Uyeyama and Mike Frank see him as a linebacker and would not even waste starting him out at Safety.
So basically once JO and Martini graduate that spot will be his, which I'm fine with. Imo kid is a baller.

I think Barajas/Bilal and Jamir Jones will have something to say about that.

Recruiting Rundown: Perry made an early commitment to Florida, but even before he arrived in South Bend for Irish Invasion in June, many were predicting a flip. Shortly after he returned from the trip, he decommitted from Florida, but didn’t complete the flip to Notre Dame until a week later. Perry also had offers from Auburn, Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State and Clemson among others. He played at IMG Academy with fellow Irish commit Tony Jones Jr. before having his senior season cut short by injury.
Expert Analysis From Uyeyama: I love the physical presence Perry brings to the game, but I’m not sure how effective he can be in coverage. I think he may lack some recognition skills in coverage and may be a little bit tight-hipped when matched up with smaller, quicker athletes.
Because of that and a frame that I believe will allow him to get above 220 pounds, I think his future may be at linebacker even though his start will probably be at strong safety. He is a true thumper, though, and has the potential to develop into an intimidating individual on the football field.
will wear #31
at this point in the season im guessing that perry will redshirt. does any know how he's been doing in practice? also will he stay at SS or make the move to LB?
I like the idea of perry moving to LB and then jalen Elliot moving to SS, get more athletes on the field.
I don't think so. I believe he has been playing special teams.Maybe I'm confusing him, but I thought that Perry was the guy that the staff saw in camp and immediately thought "redshirt to transition to linebacker".

unless their a difference maker I hate wasting a year of eligibility on special teams.I don't think so. I believe he has been playing special teams.
