Very happy for him. I thought he'd be a stud coming out of HS and here's to hoping he has more days like Saturday. From all accounts, he's a stellar young man and student.

He looked like he was running in a different gear. When he hawked Kyren on that one run early I thought something has changed.

One of my favorite parts of last weekend was watching Von block. You could tell Samuels had not been hit like that before and it was awesome!! McKinley was manhandling that little guy.

Sometimes it just takes longer for the light to come on for some players. Fingers crossed Saturday was just the beginning.

I loved seeing McKinley's hustle on Kyren's first long run. He was probably running faster trying to catch up and get the final block on that play than he's ever run while running a go-route. Just absolutely trucking it to try and get a teammate into the endzone. You love to see it.

This is the guy I told you about in 2014.

He might break PFF’s all time blocking grade tonight.

Del builds blocking WR’s like no one else I know of.

So happy for him and us that he's finally living up to those expectations. I remember seeing his playoff stats for his senior year and thinking we were getting another Michael Floyd. Better late than never.

Reminds me of Boykin smashing dudes, like the poor LB for USC. I need to find that clip. He loved trucking people.

McKinley had a great game and did a fine job blocking on this Kyren Williams run, but man he got thrown.

I’d like to see the clip where Von blocked him 25 yds down field eventually out of bounds and Samuel was like wtf? It was clear that Samuel had not been manhandled like that before and was not keen. Lmfao. Love it.

I thought McKinnly looked great today. No drops and nice runs after the catch. He needs to be used more often. Book has got to give his guys a chance to make plays like folic said.

Looked very good.

5 rec ... 93 yds ... 18.6 avg --- No drops & 5/5 on targets.

For the season:

14 rec ... 264 yds ... 18.9 avg

If not for the 2 great plays on ball by the Louisville CB's and his bobble that allowed a third strip that game, people would be going crazy about him right now.

Good for him.

I just thought that after 6 games our leading receiver would have had better stats. Whom ever that was going to be.

Granted we have been more run-heavy (64/36 run)...

Definitely a down year for passing. Mayer, a frosh is the 2nd leading pass catcher. Skow, who has only played a couple games is 3rd, and that's just on 5 catches.

I love Javon, but he's just not that dynamic. Doesn't have near the speed/ups/separation that previous #1s have had. GT and FSU are about 80% of his yards. He's a absolute stud blocking.

Posted back to back solid games. Add in the FSU game, and that’s 3 games he’s had 5 catches and 90+ yards. Hopefully he keeps it going and remains a go to, consistent receiver.

Wonder if he would consider coming back another year. My guess would be no if Book is gone.

I doubt it either way. Even if he keeps up his production from his past two games it’s unlikely he gets drafted, but he may try to make an NFL roster as an undrafted free agent.

I really think he'd be a beast as a bully slot. I don't see him ever getting a shot in the NFL on the outside.
