Very cool, Congrats Javon!
Congratulations Javon, what a huge accomplishment. That cannot be done without being extremely tenacious about your business on a day to day basis.
If Claypool's a full 6-5, I think McKinley's grown since i saw him last season. Looks like he's pushing 6-3 here.
Irish nation is sleepin' on Von but he'll wake you up.
Best WR coming in since Floyd.

To Crusader:
How heartbroken were you when Javon didn't break deep down the middle when Malik bought himself some time and had a sure-TD set up?
This is super unfortunate. Is he able to red shirt this year? If he heals up well and THjr leaves, I was hoping for Javon to be our #2 behind Stepherson next year. I was wondering/thinking that maybe a good thing to see in packages next year is Claypool @ W, ESB @ Z, CJ at slot and Alize at TE. There would talent and mismatches all over the place. I know we have a season to play but man oh man am I stoked on our potential next year!
GO IRISH!!!
What a waste. Maybe he can redshirt next year? Does that make sense?

Another stupid non-redshirt. Good news is he'll probably RS next year

Couldn't agree more but I understand you have to keep the kids happy especially one from Cali but if you are going to burn a redshirt at least play the damn kid.
How long do these injuries usually keep a player out for? Also isn't this the same thing that happend to Tori Hunter Jr.? Hope this doesn't affect McKinley speed and explosiveness because that's one thing he was lacking coming to ND. But the kid knows how to get open, prayers up and get back on the field soon Javon!
I know it is social media but Javon on twitter said that he would be 100 percent by April
Hope it's April 1st, not 31st. April's an important month to be healthy.
He's got way too much talent not to be playing every series. If you'd have seen both him and ESB as high school Jr's and Sr's you'd know what I mean. As long as he's at ND, I eventually expect him to be the best WR on the roster... unless ASB changes that.
It should be ESB, McKinley and Stepherson on the field next year. I've seen enough of everyone else
Claypool as well but no way he stays at WR, Elko is gonna walk past him and say son what position you play and then will laugh when he says WR
Claypool should stay at WR regardless. He barely got touches last year and when he did it was positive yards and he can really stretch the field. Not saying he couldn't play defense but I like him at WR
I really like him at WR as well but I don't think he will stay there. If he stays there no team in the country will have an answer for him if he can develop the route tree. But his highlight tape on defense was awesome and we are in desperate need of a pass rush. We have tried for years to do it by committee and it just isn't working. We literally have one player, maybe two with Okwara who can rush the passer out of the 80 guys on this roster. We just don't have a body like Claypool on defense and we don't land them
What about D Hayes?
He was who I was referring too
