There is no upside to that game. Spurned QB at underdog U. vs. the goliath ND. ND wins = that was supposed to happen, should've played somebody real. ND loses = overrated, they would've gotten blown out by a bigger opponent.

I'm more than happy to win a NY6 game. I'm more than happy to beat UCF who has had an incredible run lately. If we can't beat them, that's our issue. I don't care who we play to be honest if we can get the NY6 monkey off our backs.

BTW, in the last two years.... Auburn and LSU think they are real...

I was at that game. I have never heard the stadium or campus as quiet as it was after UConn won the game. It was like everyone just gave up. People were too defeated to even be mad.

he's exactly what he was here. 50%, has good wheels.
that's pretty good for UCF. perhaps not good enough for ND.

he was lucky he didn't get picked before his TD a few minutes ago.

i wasn't happy with him here, but I'll cheer my ass off for him wherever he goes.

Brandon is a very respected young man. However 6/12 isn’t that good and the team they are playing is not close to the same level. I will give him a pass because he could have first game with UCF hitters.

they have been giving both Wimbush and Gabriel snaps. Wimbush has gotten the most by far.

Gabriel is making the best of his time though. 3 of 4 and 2 TDs lol

i'm guessing with this lead, they'll rest BW a bunch, if not all of the 2nd half. just what Gabriel needs to create whispers of a legend

They made him carry the ball around to classes gripping the laces.

I remember this being talked about when he was at ND but do not remember the details.

Changing his grip or not, Wimbush is who he is... a 50% passer that is going to make some amazing plays with his arm and legs, but is also going to kill your momentum at some point with a terrible throw.

I'd bet UCF's freshman takes over at some point in AAC play when Huepel gets frustrated with too many stalled drives.

Really? I just went back to 2017 and scrolled through 10+ pages and I had next to nothing to say about BW, definitely no fanboi drama.

As soon as 5*Phil committed, I looked to the future.

Now, you may wanna hang onto that gif in case the unthinkable happens and 5*Phil turns out to be 3*Phil.

I'm not sure what, specifically, you're referring to. But Kelly has been on record stating he's very anti-laces. "Laces are for (cant remember word, babies?) not scholarship QBs at ND!"
