At.this time in our society, marijuana suspencions are kind of ridiculous. I get that there are state and team rules. Mind you, I live in. Ca

Like suspended for a game or two? Or off the team suspended?

Of course they are. It's legal here in Massachusetts (and as it becomes legal in more places, this stuff is really going to get tricky).

But, for Dex, this isn't his first go-round. Wasn't he in the car that fateful night with Max Redfield? Would he still be on probation? That complicated matters for Stepherson, IIRC.

Lulz this is awesome. Typical ND offseason. This won’t be the only surprise this offseason.

Would be so painfully typically ND for THIS to be how we work our way back down to 85

Hey guys. Don’t fret. This is how we get to the level of Alabama. Its called “roster management and oversigning.” Now all we need to do is to have Holy Cross be our JC feeder and also allow grey shirts. Soooooo close.

Not a JC since early 2000s. But they started a program my junior year there where if you got waitlisted by ND you can go there for a year and if you meet the requirements, you get admitted to ND after a year or two. Don't see why that can't be extended to football program.

Besides one rumor from someone, is there anything legit here or just ‘pants in fire’

For possession, I don't think he would still be on probation. It's a year long IIRC.

It was an issue for Stepherson because he apparently violated his probation more than once.

No, just jaws wagging over their respective position on M.J. completely oblivious that this is Notre Dame and not California, Colorado, or wherever they smoke up a room.

ND and its students have du Lac and Community Affairs that set the standards for conduct over a wide variety of topics not just drugs, legal or not.

All rumor and hearsay. I’ve heard a couple things and theres a small amount floating on social media. Like I said. 0% sure if anytbing is true or if it’s all rumor. Unfortunately, just about every time I have heard there are rumors they wind up to be true or partially true. Could be academics, weed, pure BS (which I hope) but I’m sure we’ll find out soon. I hate the off season lol.

Lol, so in our pursuit of 85, we lose a 5th year starting DE, a 5th year starting corner, and a senior starting RB, who was going to break out this year at a position that is thin.

It's honestly so ND that it's too funny to get upset about.

To be fair:

- We lost a "starting" DE because he was going to lose his starting role.
- We lost a "starting" corner, because he was going to lose his starting role.
- As of yet, Williams is still on the team.

If it’s true you wonder why he didn’t play much at all these last few years

In 2015-16, there was no reason for him to play, as ND had Prosise/Adams or Folston/Adams.

Last year, he didn't play because he couldn't pass protect worth a sh*t and was also frequently hurt.
