Dexter makes the 53 man roster, this game winning drive may have been the difference. Tra Carson appeared to be ahead of him all preseason.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">The game-winning drive last night was the Dexter Williams drive: 7 touches, 44 yards and a score. Showed first-step burst, a little wiggle, and toughness inside. Plus, the big play in the passing game (crucial for him). Here's every touch from that drive. <a href="https://t.co/USVdmKNXAD">pic.twitter.com/USVdmKNXAD</a></p>— Peter Bukowski (@Peter_Bukowski) <a href="https://twitter.com/Peter_Bukowski/status/1167481125968719872?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">August 30, 2019</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

glad he made it, but was hoping he might get waived and end up a colt!

He sure looked like he belongs in the NFL in that drive.

Dexter is everything great about Notre Dame and a big reason why I’m still a fan.

RKG is not why I love Notre Dame.

Battling through mistakes and learning from them is.

That’s real excellence.

Keep goin’, Juice! Makin’ us all proud.

Dex was waived by the Packers today, as was ESB. Cold-blooded moves by their former assistant coach, Matt Lafleur.

In all seriousness, Kylin Hill, their 7th rd draft pick from Miss. St., had a really impressive camp, so it looks like he'll be the RB3 they're carrying on the 53 man roster. Hopefully they can retain Dex on their practice squad again, if not I hope he kills it at his next stop.

I love Dex, and I don't want to speak ill of him, but remember when Koon talked about him having a better NFL career than Josh Adams...

Yeah, Dex just never got it going in GB. Not his fault that Aaron Jones became a perennial pro-bowler out of nowhere and AJ Dillon looks like the real deal. Also, a lot of the same issues that he had early on in his ND career, such as pass pro consistency, was a big reason why he didn't see the field more in his earlier years with the Pack.

Hope he lands somewhere, we all know how talented he is. Just hasn't put it all together just yet.
