I'm SO HAPPY!!! He's a packer

Been a crazy week at work finally able to log on and express my excitement as well.

I like him as a runner a lot more than Jamaal Williams, and think he'll have a shot as the #3 back to move up the depth chart behind Aaron Jones.

I think Dexter is underrated as a WR and he should fit in very well with Matt Flynn at the helm now. Should run a much more balanced offense than Mike McCarthy did.

I work across the street from Lambeau so I take care of Packer people all the damn time. They don't really like us talking to them Expect JK Scott, that's my dude . But with Dex I might just walk and give him a hug and welcome him to GB. But I will always sympathize for people who take the road less traveled and get second chances because it's the same one I traveled.

JK Scott seems like he has a great personality/sense of humor from some clips I've seen.

Here's a video of the team coming in for their first off season meeting/workout in 2019. The 11 second mark cracked me up

A lot of positive reports from GB camp regarding Dex. Sounds like he is turning heads and may push Jamaal Williams for the #2 RB role behind Aaron Jones. His explosiveness has stood out early on.

Jamaal Williams has only averaged 3.7 YPC so far in his career.

Also helps that both Jones and Jamaal Williams are banged up and have sat out a few practices, giving Dex a ton of work at the position.

This. Jamal hasn’t really practiced yet. Hard to make a team if you don’t practice.

There's zero doubt that Jamaal will make the team; He does everything well, just nothing great. He's a good pass catcher and blocker, but other than short yardage situations, his running ability is lacking.

Dex has a chance to really compliment Aaron Jones with a second explosive option. 6.7 YPC last year as a Sr...that's no joke, combined with Aaron Jones who has led the NFL in YPC twice, albeit with limited touches (one of the reasons many speculate McCarthy got the hook).

Saw reports (can't remember where) that he has looked "questionable" in pass pro....

That shit don't fly in the NFL. Can't have your franchise QB getting blind sighted by a blitzing LB. He certainly improved his Senior season, but this has always been an issue for him.

Haven't heard anything about his pass pro...perhaps no news is good news.

I know, Rodgers is such a terrible guy. Heard rumors that when he played in college, he would actually do a jerk-off motion at the other teams sidelines while they were blowing them out. The worst part was it was Kansas......

Yeah, sounds like something ARod would do.... He should take notes on how to act from some of his peers... like, that's not how you shotgun a beer bro.

Ha. I have no love in my heart for Baker, but that was pretty epic. I'll give you that.

Easily the best one I've seen since this started trending. Close 2nd is David Bakhtiari going back to back chugs at the Bucs game.

Do you have a minute to discuss our QB and Savior???

You're changing the topic to Ian Book and Jesus Christ?

I think he really means Reesus

Nope. Just saying you have had some interesting predictions tonight.

LOL...I always do when I get going. Let's recap tonight:

- Dexter will be a candidate for ROY
- ND will hold their own against GA
- ......??? Fill me in.

I'm sure I'm missing something.

Let's get back on topic. How do you think Dex holds up against NFL competition?

I think that acceleration from stop to go is one of the best I've ever seen. Now granted, I've been watching ND's backfield for years. But damn, he bursts like something else...jet packs on the back of those ankles. I'm probably just being a homer though.

Thought Dex looked good tonight. I didn't get to see the whole game but what I saw I liked

His box score number arent bad. Josh Adams numbers look pretty bad though. Hopefully Josh kicks on I thought he looked excellent for a few weeks last year.

Dexter makes the 53 man roster, this game winning drive may have been the difference. Tra Carson appeared to be ahead of him all preseason.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">The game-winning drive last night was the Dexter Williams drive: 7 touches, 44 yards and a score. Showed first-step burst, a little wiggle, and toughness inside. Plus, the big play in the passing game (crucial for him). Here's every touch from that drive. <a href="https://t.co/USVdmKNXAD">pic.twitter.com/USVdmKNXAD</a></p>— Peter Bukowski (@Peter_Bukowski) <a href="https://twitter.com/Peter_Bukowski/status/1167481125968719872?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">August 30, 2019</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
