Not to copy and paste II but

"They have two great guys already there ...we'll get one other by the time we get up there. The four of us will definitely try to make each other better."

Q: You think that fourth guy is going to be Dexter Williams?

A: (Pause). Yeah, it will probably be him. I talked to him and he feels pretty confident about the school. I'm excited for him. It's a big thing when you decide to commit to Notre Dame and we're going to go in there, give it everything and try to get better."

Down to Miami and ND. Was a mutual parting of ways when he decommitted but both sides are excited to be back in contact. Both programs feel they will land him.

Can we kill the messenger? Someone has to pay for this.

Says the man with 21 posts.......seems like a chicken little act to me.

Chill. Beforehand he was the other way, he's just relaying what he hears. And all information is welcome especially when he cites where it's coming from.

It's possible that he just found it easier to say "yes" than "no" and it's a way of getting Miami coaches to chill. Or maybe the depth chart there is just so appealing now that he's leaning towards Miami. You know the coaches have certainly been going with a hard sell because The U is desperate.

It's an absolute fact that he told people he was coming to ND, so hopefully he doesn't back off of that.

I'll say again, classic lead up to NSD. What better way to drum up business by the recruit sites.

I know it's recruiting and weird things happen all the time, but there is literally no cb's down for him to miami. Not that they are the end all be all to where a recruit is going but it would seem strange that a site such as 247 would be caught with their pants down in a situation like this. Not one insider is saying anything about him to miami over there.

It's actually not a big deal for this year. It's a big deal for AFTER this year.

Of all the positions on the field, it seems like RB would be the one place where this problem is a minor one and not a major one. There are just so many backs out there, and that is a position where a guy can come in and play as a freshman. There are pass pro things to figure out, but purely as a runner you can just throw a athlete in there and he can figure it out.

Hope this works out in our favor but of all the places where I feel we could survive a hiccup this would be the one.

He gave me his source on the information and told me that his source has been correct with everything he shared in the past. And I will gladly collect useless internet dollars from anyone who is willing to share if my source is right.

Major red flag statement in the world of recruiting.

These next two days are going to have half of this site on the ledge. Then about 2:00 Wednesday afternoon everyone will be talking about what a great class this is.

The truth is this is a great class. Especially with the way we closed out this season. A loss at home to Northwestern and getting destroyed by our rival does not exactly scream that we are on the come up. The fact that our staff has been able to keep everyone committed through this nonsense and make in roads with someone of Flex's caliber is quite impressive.

Atleast Signing day will be interesting. Was beginning to think it would be pretty boring.

No idea.

Maybe they... want us to tweet at recruits? I'm very confused. It seems to be that someone (Alford?) asked players maybe to reach out on social media...? And they're encouraging "ND Nation" to welcome him?

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>ND nation welcome <a href="https://twitter.com/DexterW_22">@DexterW_22</a> to be apart of our history.</p>— Robert Hughes (@RobertHughesND) <a href="https://twitter.com/RobertHughesND/status/562450264196513792">February 3, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

The way it's phrased it sounds like he's pitching him. Which makes me think it really isn't a done deal.

There will nearly always be a last minute defection.

Especially with an 8-5 team.

It happens every year.
