Very very recently. It's frustrating that the ND fanbase placed this kid the future face of the program and he ate it up just to, more than likely, throw it in our faces.

Then, here's a wild idea? Don't fucking commit! Why do these kids always have a hard time getting this beatin' into their thick skulls. Especially with him pretty much putting Notre Dame on a pedestal, only to flick off the golden dome in the end. If he flips to Oregon within the next 48 hours, he is dead to me. If he flips, but gives ND a shot, then I got nothing to say but good luck to him.

I hope he takes a loooong time. I don't think he's making a return trip after committing to Oregon. This is the kind of kid that flips once and will shut it all down IMO (like a Hood). If he pulls the trigger and makes an impulse decision I think he's gone for good.

What are your thoughts on Josh Barajas, Jhonny Williams, Pete Mokwuah, Drue Tranquill, Greg Bryant, Max Redfield, Will Fuller, and Jarron Jones?

I think he will come to his senses. Oregon put their best foot forward with help from toads like Hopkins, and Barnett, who is a 17 year old kid, who is feeling the love. He will share his excitement with his parents and go to sleep in his ND cluttered room confused. He will wake up tomorrow remembering the fun he had at Oregon and slowly begin talking to our recruits again. The staff will talk him into II, where he will attend and all of his initial feelings will rush back over him. He will be Irish! Hang in there.

While it is possible, it doesn't appear likely when everyone on 247 is switching crystal balls and reports from South Bend (if those are accurate) are that they are not hopeful. Of course anything is possible, but at this point I have resigned myself to the likelihood that he is gone. If he recommits, it will be a very pleasant surprise.

3. While I suppose I understand why our staff went all in here. I thought they would have learned by now not to get caught with their pants down. However, even without Blake, we have some solid depth at QB and have already begun the process for 2016. If no QB in this class we have a ton to sell to options in '16 class.

Certainly wasn't expecting this. However, let's let the hype of the visit wear off a little and let his parents talk to him. I bet his parents make him visit for II so he can see what he is giving up. At the very least they will require him to talk with Kelly before doing anything. We know BK will be heavily involved from here on out and he will point out the great academic support system ND has, as well as what a degree from ND means compared to OU. Can BK make a home visit at this time?

You can't really blame him. Our QBs have put up very mediocre stats while Oregon's QBs are putting up gawdy numbers every week. Also, Oregon's facilities are ridiculously nice and they're the hottest team in the country. If you did a poll of all high school football players, I'd bet >80% of them say Oregon is the coolest program in the country. Easy classes, hot girls, and sick offense trump classes at ND, the occasional hot girl, worst fucking weather outside of Siberia, and an offense that as far as he knows is plodding and mediocre as hell. I follow recruiting very lightly and assume that any 5-star player ND gets will decommit. On the rare occasions where they come to ND and don't transfer or bitch out like Vanderdoesn't, it's a pleasant surprise that way.
