Also, it's odd seeing recruiting come apart (seemingly, with this and Hill/Corn etc.) before the season starts... it usually (basically always) rocks and rolls until ND loses some games in the season THEN starts to fall apart...

Yeah, it'd be worse if it happened on February 1st, but even with it being June, can you think of a more impactful decommitment?

Barnett was a legit superstar. He's the once every few years QB that allows you to compete against teams with Bama's roster and have a legitimate chance.

He's got the potential, but there is no way to know how good he will be. Even if he sticks with ND, It doesn't mean he will win 4 Heismans. I like him as much as the next guy, but he hasn't won anything yet.

Was literally the only analyst that reported UO as an option for many months, and now that his actions have helped to destabilize Blake's recruit, he's strutting around and trolling Irish fans. In other words, Hopkins is a paragon of professionalism.

Travis Waller, Servite HS - same as Niklas and fellow target St. Brown, would be a must IMO. His favorites are Oregon (no offer), OSU (no offer), Bama (non-commitable offer), and USC (Already has 2 QBs committed). He's pretty much a backup plan for every major team.

It appears that Blake hasn't spoken with them about this yet, and Mrs. Barnett is apparently very much in our corner. So there may still be hope. Not looking good, though.
