Both and a Vile of their blood...Autographed and personalized? Or just a pic?

if autographed,,, that package would be worth a pile of gold....
Can you imagine the kind of effort it would take to even get 100 of those signed? 477 pieces of mail is a pretty epic undertaking in itself, considering theres probably just a small team of helpers working with Sandlin. You guys are funny, thinking they'd be autographedCan you imagine the kind of effort it would take to even get 100 of those signed? 477 pieces of mail is a pretty epic undertaking in itself, considering theres probably just a small team of helpers working with Sandlin.
Surprised we'd be going hard after another TE. Is there a chance Weishar would play another position? I can't recall if Luatua was projected anywhere besides TE. Maybe we're anticipating going to more 12 man sets? Good for the run game.

Don't be surprised to see Luatua become a H-back.i think some people here mentioned the idea of TL at LB, but I believe that was simply that, an idea, no actual substance behind the idea being mentioned from the staff/analysts.
but 12 man sets, yes please.
jumbo bunch sets
line up 4 TE in the gun and spread everyone out
run it down everyones f*cking throat with folston/GB/Golson behind our huge OLine
would be hard to stay with us for 4 quarters, im telling you. i hope we seriously consider pushing our offense in this kind of direction, say 2 years from now.
All 477 aren't even alive anymore.

He should get another POG, this time with 643 pieces of mail to represent the winning percentage of ND vs Stanford
Potentially 5 TEs in 2 years? What gives...?

THIS IS NOTRE DAME....We got connections...ya know wut I'm sayin
On the flip side... Based on his interviews, I wouldn't be shocked to see Luatua jump ship. I think the possibility of getting only Weishar this year is very real.
What quotes in what interviews lead you to think that?
Big skill. Don't be surprised to see Luatua at LB before long.

Nothing imparticular. I could be completely imagining things. I have no inside knowledge. I have just been reading stuff like this from sites like Inside the Irish:
“My final two was Notre Dame and Alabama,” Luatua told Irish Illustrated. “I changed my decision these last few weeks. I was going to Notre Dame then going to Alabama. I talked to my family about it and they said I’d have better chances at Notre Dame and I fit in with their offense. It was just talking to my parents this past week and my family too.”
“Alabama is a great school, but they use their tight ends differently and I just wasn’t going to be as happy there like I felt at Notre Dame,” Luatua told BlueandGold.com. “I got a lot of respect for that school, but it’s not the best fit for me.”
Recruiting bonanza continues with TE Tyler Luatua commitment | Inside the Irish
I just kind of get the sense with Luatua that he thinks he is making the right choice, rather than being really excited about the decision. The California kids who aren't completely sold with ND seem to waiver/struggle/transfer. (Rueland, Shaq, Vanderdoo ... even Cierre and Greenberry).
SINCE I DON"T KNOW THE KID, I COULD BE TOTALLY MISREADING HIM. I really have no idea. California kids who aren't ecstatic about ND make me nervous.
Don't be surprised to see Luatua become a H-back.
20:1 is tempting... I think that's about where I'd put the odds... somewhere in the 5% range. He's definitely been a recruited as a TE, he definitely will start off by TE, and the only reason he would play LB is because he has the physical ability to do so IF depth factors made that a need.
The staff cross-evaluates all "big skill" and "skill" prospects for where they might contribute on both sides of the ball. It's rare to see someone moved, but it also has happened a handful of times already since Kelly has been in town.
