The browns are so bad on offense. The kid had his own issues but got ZERO help.
Wentz looked good in his first year...Watson looks good in his first year...

Wentz was ok. A good rookie year, but he was ok. Helps to have two solid tight ends and a serviceable WR corps. Still had a 16/14 TD/INT line. Not very good.
Watson has DeAndre FREAKING Hopkins, Fuller, and a pretty good running back in Lamar Miller.
Honestly, why are you even on this site when all you do is hate on EVERYTHING and EVERYONE associated with ND Football?
How many of these guys play for the Browns?
So did Vince Young and RG III
Wentz had a "servicable WR corps"? I would say "mediocre." I don't know how many Browns games you watch -I'm a Browns fan and I watch every game- but Kizer has looked lousy, especially last game. Hogan has looked better. Given the QB class next year, the Browns were going to draft a QB after this season unless Kizer absolutely dazzled. He has not.
Doesn't change the situation vis-a-vis Kizer and Hogan.
Wentz still looks good in his second year.
Mediocre is serviceable...
But anyway, yeah he hasn't looked great. Point is, everyone knew he shouldn't be thrown in first game of the season, yet the Browns did it anyway. Hogan has looked better, but that doesn't change the fact that the Browns running game is nonexistent and the WRs are not even mediocre... they're bad.
The WRs are bad, but they're the same for both guys. The stats so far this season:
Kizer: 81/159 (50.9%), 3 TD, 9 INT, 49.5 rating
Hogan: 26/38 (68.4%), 3 TD, 2 INT, 104.8 rating
They have the worst group of receivers in the NFL. How is a rookie QB supposed to have success with this team?

Making the change to Hogan has really helped the Browns
Hue Jackson deserves all the flack he is receiving, such a dumb move.
Yeah Kizer really screwed us giving up 28 points per game on defense....
It could have been 48 points against. It was the amount of opportunities he had with the game in hands in the last possession.
Other then his very first game against Virginia, he just had the annoying habit of coming up short.
But most QB’s aren’t of hall of famers, but to fall short so often was a disappointment to me.

He came up short against UVA? He won that game, literally on the last play with Will Fuller
