Could you imagine a team picking a guard #1 overall? Average, ignorant, fans would kill themselves.

Guard isn't close to the Browns top need but if they packaged something right I obviously wouldn't mind having our boy... I think they'll go for a tackle if they go O Line in the first two rounds though

I repeat...

I HATE the Bears for winning the AFC North.

They had one job: Lose enough games to get Q and they failed.

Stupid AFC North. Sell the whole lot to the CFL.

I am so ready for the ponies to grab Q. 1B would be Chubb.

I think he's certainly worth it. When this draft is looked back on in 5 years, there will be a couple of busts at the top of the draft, probably at QB, and the team that takes Q will feel pretty good about themselves.

For a team like the Colts, maybe a trade back makes sense, and get Q a few picks later?

Idk exactly where you could go and feel confident that he'd drop. Broncos could definitely draft him at 5.

That was my previous thought given the history of teams not taking linemen early. The exception being the super stud LT of course. However, given all the talk and hype Q has gotten, I have a feeling he will be taken very early, thus I don't think I would risk it.

The scary part is he's only going to get stronger!

Certainly a risk you run.

And I think a lot of this can and will change with how free agency plays out, and the impending pro days for these QB's. If Broncos or Jets end up getting bent on a specific QB, maybe they want to trade up. I doubt the Browns take him at 1 or 4. The Giants could at #2, but then you would've missed on him anyway.

I really don't see the Broncos taking him, only because they need a QB. That is if they don't get Cousins, but Minnesota didn't franchise tag any of their QBs, so you have to think they are feeling pretty good about landing him.

I am not a draft expert, but I believe the four of the first five picks will be QBs and Barkley. I've heard that the Colts are switching defenses and will need to draft accordingly.

The Jets at 6. They obviously need a QB, but do they (what I feel) reach for Mayfield at this point?

Bucs at 7, they just let go of Doug Martin, RB is a need. Their defense was rough, it is a need.

Bears at 8. Obviously they need WRs, but they also need Oline. Let's hope they get Q.

The only way this happens is if the Colts take Barkley which would be a wasted pick. If you can't block for Luck, how are you going to block for Barkley? You are correct that the Colts are switching to a 4-3, thus the interest in Chubb. I will be surprised if the Colts pick someone besides Q or Chubb.

Yeah, everybody is gushing on Q.

Can't wait to see which team values him the most and can't wait to see him take his first snaps.

Everytime I watch that DB blitz block... Wow, I mean you just don't see a guard catch that in time.

If he goes to the Bears I will suspend my rule about not buying jersey's of players who haven't retired.

A #56 with just Q on it is the plan. That is if the Broncos, Colts and the Bucs are dumber than I think they are.

Breath not held.

I'm going to miss him in a gold helmet, but he'll look great in a white helmet with a blue horseshoe.

If Ballard GMs like his old bosses back in KC, then I'm not sure he'll value guard enough for a top 6 pick. LT, DE, CB, QB were the first round picks of KC while Ballard was there. Will he value non-premium positions highly enough to choose Q in the top 10? I don't know, but it wouldn't surprise me if the Colts pass on him for somebody else.

Maybe they will give us a 2 for 1, because I am all in on it as well.

Ballard was the only GM at ND's pro day. This tells me he's under serious consideration. Given what I've heard on the radio and read in the paper, I think Chubb would be the only player they would take ahead of him, but who knows.

Hmm, I bet McGlinchey is also a target too for a trade up from the 2nd round or possibly the 2nd outright OR if they trade back with Buffalo/Zona too.

...or it's a short drive so he can hang with his buddies in the biz and scheme on ESB in the 3rd/4th.

Even though I think Castonzo is better suited for RT, the Colts seem happy with him at LT, so I'd be surprised if they went after big Mike. LG Newhort has done decent, but he's been hurt more than healthy. They just resigned him for super cheap. Not sure what to make of that. Maybe they think if they grab Q and slide Newhort to RG, the Colts line instantly becomes pretty good.

IMO RT is his best position. I don't think he's quick enough to play LT in the Pro's.

Agree.............Would be shocked if they took Q then Mike, but with Kelly and Newhort being young, the Colts O line wouldn't be an issue for quite a while. If Colts take Q, their second pick will be on defense IMO. They need DE and MLB.

if he's there when the Ravens pick i bet they take him and plug him in at RT from Day 1
