Steve posted that he isn't sure the PSU offer will mean much (despite Drue's "honest look" comment) and that Drue's final decision could still come in the very near future. He is discussing it with those closest to him his week.

Give me both, IMO. We have ~8 spots left not counting McKenzie (I think the writing is on the wall there). We can afford to take two ILB candidates in addition to Martini, especially if Tranquill/Sykes are as versatile as we're lead to believe. We've only signed 2 ILBs in the past 3 classes... yet try to put two on the field at a time. That's insanity. We probably need 3 in this class even if Randolph moves to ILB full time, and we only currently have 1 kid committed.

I agree completely. I'd rather have excess up the middle on defense then at WR, where we have great depth and is a much easier position to fill.

Absolutely. Even assuming a 5Y for Moore and a permanent move inside for Randolph, we still need to sign 3 ILBs this cycle.
