Any comments from Nyles?

He is a man of few words.

24/7:

"It was a great game," Morgan said shortly after leaving campus. "A lot of love here."

Besides the game, Morgan's favorite part about the visit.

"Talking to the coaches," he said.

I take it more seriously then I would've a couple months ago.

Agreed. But Loy CB'd this on Friday before the game. I would trust it more if he had CB'd it today after talking to sources or Morgan.

I guess we're all just waiting for Wiltfong to validate it (or not).

Yep, and yep.

Wiltfong posted at some point this weekend that he thinks it's close but he's not ready to switch his CB just yet.

Morgan keeps his cards close to the vest.

Honestly, I think right now we are at least tied for the lead here.

I'll admit I never knew the story, but I always thought you guys were way too hard on Loy.

I mean, it looks like he's turning out to be correct in the Isaiah McKenzie case, doesn't it? I remember him taking a lot of shit for that. I never understood it.

For a while he was riding on Wiltfong's coattails for scoops, providing information that wasn't new, and then he freaking CB'd Lo Carter to ND.

At that point, I knew the dude was out of his skull bone.

EDIT: Plus he had/has a bad habit of pseudo-trolling the ND fanbase by being a huge ND homer with his CB picks and his
Twitter pitches for new subscriptions. I don't care for it.

Do you make any posts anymore that don't start with "I always thought you guys were wrong", "you guys are too hard on ___" or "I never understood why"?

It was huge getting him back at Nd this weekend. He may not commit but have a horse in the race.

Once Wilfong changes his crystal ball to ND then I will start believing. But there is no doubt Nyles interest in ND is growing. He didn't visit all summer when he lived all of 90 miles from campus. WE have to start recruiting the ChiRaq better

The worst thing about Loy are the UNC tweets/updates I could care less about. Doesn't ND have a big enough fan base to support a guy who only focuses on them?

Fair enough.

Side note, why do people say 'could care less' when they're hinting at the fact they don't care... I always say 'I couldn't care less'.

For the same reason people say "irregardless" and "for all intensive purposes".

Some of us come here for recruiting updates, not a dshans-esque lecture on grammar.

The same goes for people who start sentences with "Anyways". God dammit it's "anyway".

But yes all of those piss me off immensely.

"I could care less" made it into the OED.

It's perfectly acceptable as an ironical usage. Even the New York Times (which is infamous for its rigid style and usage constrictions) uses the phrase and I believe it's been adopted by the Chicago Manual of Style.

To give you a window into how boring my life is.... I've participated in this exact argument on at least a half dozen occasions.

EDIT: and my pet peeve is "one in the same."
