I'll be surprised if he ended up anywhere other than Ohio State.

just like:

Quenton Nelson
Elijah Hood
Sam Mustipher
Chase Winovich

You did get Dante Booker, but that didn't surprise anyone around here.

Just hope you can hold onto Jamarco Jones

Ohio State already has a lot of linebackers committed (2013-2014). Trey Johnson, Mike Mitchell , Christopher Worley, Kyle Berger, Sam Hubbard, Dante Booker.. i think he finally will stay in the south after all.

Where have I heard this before...? But no worries - when he stays south, I'm sure you all can rest easy knowing his offer wasn't actionable anyway.

The list is more if you consider 2012. Of them however, only Mike Mitchell is a MLB. Need depth. Depth chart is still attractive for MIKE.

In any case, depth is just one of the things kids consider when selecting a school. In Kwon's case, it isn't that important.

Per Meyer, those guys were recruited to play QB.

Serious note, even if a recruit looks at depth charts as a factor at all the coaches can easily manipulate what looks like a crowded position. They could claim someone is moving on early, or is likely moving to a different position and use that as further reason why recruit X is really needed.

The Chef: Coach I'm grateful for the opportunity, but I'm going to stay near my family.
Urban: Kwan I hate to see you say goodbye, but I love to watch you go.

Per 247, Clemson and Bama have got OSU and might have already passed them. Feeling is now that he will likely not leave the south.

OSU will be pissed probably. I know they were high on this kid and thought they had a really good chance for him for some time.

It's funny looking back at this prospect. The big ILB Diaco is looking for? This guy seems like the prototype. Too bad we never had a chance.

I know this isn't the place but I dont understand why we seem to be looking for big ILB's when our DL is so big, and the spread passing game becomes more pervasive every year. Seems to me slightly smaller, more athletic LB's would make more sense- If you've got planetoid DLinemen to handle the OL, your LB's don't need to be as big, right? And smaller, more athletic guys could cover better, and stop those ******* screen passes...

the Mike ILB in a 3-4 spends 80% of the game mixing it up with interior OL so some stoutness is required.

Announcing in a couple hours. Urbie got the last in home visit last night.

Hope he spurns OSU for Bama like Hand did to Michigan
