This is going to be bad news for the recruits.

No joke. This is really bad news. The kids are already getting hundreds of letters and postcards per school on almost a daily basis. This is very very bad news.

Some seem to be ok with it. They think it will make the ones who care stand out. However, I'm with you all. I think this will become a nightmare for recruits. There will be a fine line between staying and contact and building a relationship versus contacting them too much and turning them away because they're annoyed. This also will undoubtedly cause more problems with poaching. I'm happy we have a staff who are relentless and work as hard as they do.

I know it's been said a hundred times about a hundred different recruits, but we really need to get this kid on campus. Him considering tOSU could actually work to our advantage if it encourages him to make a road trip to the midwest to see their program and ND's.

Booker has done really well with getting Georgia kids to visit so I'm almost expecting him to make it happen again here. Rochell didn't expect ND to factor into his final decision initially but was blown away when he got to South Bend. Lets hope the same happens with Raekwon.

IMHO this new rule is bad for these kids and their families. I am sure most will agree with that but many are worrying and concerned we will lose ground on the competition, to that I say don't fret this is a wonderful opportunity for the truth to prevail. Our message is genuine. We offer one of the finest degrees, we have one of the finest coaching staffs that has a proven track of developing players and winning.

This new rule does nothing but create noise and distortion to our competitors, if a recruit has the grades and ability we offer the best opportunity.it seems crazy but this is very good for us. We are ND!

If Booker can land a couple of the studs he's recruiting he will blow up nationally. Also I would think our ILB position opposite Grace would look extremely attractive. Not muh depth there. Basically player x with be competing with Deeb for a starting spot from day one. Most likely won't start a freshman ILB, but maybe by sophomore year.
