I think there are a lot of differences between the two recruitments. KC is down to two schools already with a deadline he's been open and honest about keeping. He's already been to ND before which Hood hadn't. And from everything I've read the family is perfectly ok with him leaving for school. Also KC's parents are with him on the trip which one of the driving forces behind Hood's recruitment is parents haven't met the coaches or been to campus.

KC's dad said they weren't speaking to anyone tonight as they returned from the trip late. Christian will talk to him soon and get as much info as possible. He did hear that the visit went extremely well and ND is in a strong position.

If there was a gap going into this visit between Miami and Notre Dame, there is definitely not one now. Parents really liked the entire community at Notre Dame.
ND is at par with Miami at this point and certainly exceeded his expectations in some areas.
Miami will need a big visit this weekend for the final shot.
This one won't be over until February.
