Recruiting is a zero sum game. He definitely has been a great recruiter this year, and he deserves credit regardless of what Juju decides to do. But finishing second? That doesn't help the 2014-2018 football teams at all, lol.

This^^^^ yeah if we don't get Juju that would suck but kids from Poly just haven't bee interested in ND. Normally they are all SC. Hopefully this is a start because every year they have some serious studs.

It is not really a zero sum game because if you do a good job it builds lines of communication for coaches in places you have never been before. Even if we dont win in Louisiana we are starting to build in roads in the state.

well thank you for the obvious comment. I am saying ND never does well at Cal Poly and JuJu is a die hard USC fan. Grew up around USC, and his parents are Trojan fans. Denbrock does a unreal job in Cali. I know they are all not at ND but he still got us elite 4-5 guys that no one else does. So I am tipping my cap to Mike Denbrock for the amazing job he has done with JuJu recruitment.

Right, you just worded it funny. I completely agree that Denbrock gets a tip of the cap, regardless of the outcome. But if Juju goes to USC, there's no objective way to say it's still a win in ND's book. At least IMO.

Long Beach Poly, not Cal Poly. Cal Poly is a university lol. But still, that is a TOUGH place for ND to get kids.
