I read an article last night that seemed to say that this is video from an incident that had already gotten him suspended (during the season). Now that the evidence has surfaced, he's being suspended again.

He got suspended once a while ago for doing it, and now he's being suspended again because the public sees him doing it. At least, that was my understanding from what I read. This could be a completely new thing.

I use a DE safety razor with Feather blades. They're more expensive than the Shark ones you listed, but I didn't care for the DE Shark blades at all. Have you ever used feathers? They're heaven. Ninja sharp.

I haven't. Maybe I will give them a try. I use the single Sharks, but i'm guessing the blade isn't any different. They are super sharp in the first shave, then I replace them, and use them for shaping deer hair flies for flyfishing.

At that price, I use a new blade with every shave.

If I'm going budget blades, Derby are my go tos. I know they come in single blades, too, and last me 4-5 shaves before I replace.

I would try another blade if it offered a better shave. But as I mentioned, I use a new blade with every shave. So a new blade would either need to shave better or shave better than a Shark on a second shave. It's hard pill to swallow using a blade more than once though.
