One of the big urban legends of all time. Chuck's closer to 6-6 with shoes on.

You can look at any picture with him and MJ and see they are within a half inch of each other.

I've actually stood next to Chuck and had a conversation with him. Unless he loses 2 inches slumping, he's no taller than me (6'4"). Melo is another guy that surprised me when I saw him in person.

Lol. Posture is definitely not his strong suit. I see Chuck all the time, he lives in my neighborhood in Scottsdale. I'm 6-5 and change w/o shoes and we are the same height.

My luck - Decker ends up in a Bears uniform and my fanhood is put to the test.

He would undoubtedly be a complete steal at #11 for da Bears.

Decker or Stanley? I've heard from a lot of people that Decker is likely to have more of a future at right tackle than left, although I haven't watched enough of him to make a judgement. 11th overall is pretty high to take a RT.

Stanley.

I was surprised how.... "small (?)" Stanley was. Him and Elmer are definitely guys who could be like Michael Strahan if they weren't lifting. Both solid basketball bodies that were made into football players in the weightroom vs. Quentin Nelson who is built like a Marvel Comic Character.... and then there's Big McG. If football doesn't work out, he may be the Undertaker's replacement.

Referencing Stanley - edited to clarify. F-Decker don't have opinion on his value in the draft. Agree with above though - RT vs LT value is very clear.

It does make sense that more basketball frame types end up quick with more reach to deal with the speed rushes. Power may help the run game but it is speed that keeps the QB from leaving on a stretcher.

Stanley was a pretty good player coming up. He played with Shabazz Muhammad and Stanford's best player, Rosco Allen.

Good job. You found the only undersized power worth anything in nba history lol

Here's 3 more, 2 of which are Irish, the other their biggest rival of the day.

NFL Events: Combine Player Profiles - Ronnie Stanley

NFL COMPARISON Lane Johnson

BOTTOM LINE
Three-year starter with the outstanding foot quickness and pass protection talent expected from an early round left tackle prospect. Stanley showed great maturity in acknowledging his weaknesses and returning to school to work on them and improve his game. While Stanley’s core power is still a concern, he showed improved strength and run blocking prowess this year and should be ready to come in and start right away for a team looking to protect a high-*end quarterback.

Did anybody see a "report" claiming Stanley has a terrible work ethic? I saw BR post a rebuttal, but it seems that they first posted something 5 days ago then hit reverse today with quotes from the staff.

Insider Buzz: NFL Execs Questioning Ronnie Stanley's Work Ethic Ahead of Combine | Bleacher Report Here's the first report.

Apparently it's because he went home to Vegas to train...methinks that the "source" didn't know that Ronnie's from Vegas.

Insider Buzz: ND Coach Compares Ronnie Stanley's Work Ethic to Zack Martin | Bleacher Report

Here's the backtracking released today. Still saying that his hometown isn't an appropriate place to train. Lamesauce.

Pretty shitty "reporting" if you ask me.

Sorry I missed this. How tall do you think MJ was?

I think he will have a great NFL career but of course the South Bend tribune would think this. Everyone pretty much has Tunsil being the top guy, still a top 15 lock and I'm extremely happy with the career Ronnie had at ND

i dont think the tribune wrote that

I'd never attend the draft personally unless I was a guy like Winston or Mariotta and knew I would be top 3. I feel like too many high profile guys go and get embarrassed a la Manziel. If I got that disappointing call from the Browns, I wouldn't want my face of despair to be shown on TV

Don't think the Giants could pass on him at 10 if still available.

There was an article I read about how the Giants might not be able to take an OL with the 10th pick because of salary cap allocation. In other words, too much money would invested in the OL and the organization might not want that.

If he makes it to 11, the Bears better be running with the card.

They'll have Willie Gault there to deliver it in a new Over-50 world record time.

Eagles with the 8th pick in the draft. They are talking a trade involving Jason Peters so they are going to need a viable replacement.
