remind me, did we not offer him? or was there some admissions issue? seems like he's done well for himself.
He plays at Bowling Green, y'all...
Being class of '12, what WR do you honestly seeing him play over?

South Bend kid sparked local interest plus he was named after a favor player of ACamp's . Went to same school as arrowryan.
Predominantly MAC offers. KU and SMU only major conference offers. OV'ed at KU and SMU. I think he verbaled somewhere else before but not sure before ending up at SMU. Transferred out to BGU and sat out a mandatory transfer year, '13.
Had 10 catches his first year, then 35, than exploded this year 89 catches and 950+ yds.
ND never offered. I don't recall if academics were an issue. I suspect better prospects was the problem. ND signed Chris Brown, Justin Ferguson, Davonte Neal, and a multi-faceted kid named Prosise.
Good to see making his mark.
Justin Ferguson
I was unaware that Furgeson was in our two deep...
We are moving guys like Brent to RB, do you honestly think that he would be playing on our team right now?
Still amazed i was banned for not wanting this kid. I know him and the family very well. Not much has changed.

I'm not amazed at all, and I was happy to give you a temporary banning. An asshole was calling a 17 year-old and his dad assholes. I also know many people who know that family, and the dad is an asshole. But you were warned several times that it was an active recruit's thread, and to just keep it to yourself, as other recruits and their families read this site, and to show just a wee bit of class. But you just couldn't do it. So you were given a mini-vacation. The fact that this bothers you so much that this is like the 10th time you bring it up is classic. You earned your vacation...obviously you didn't enjoy it lol.

Wasn't arrowryan friends with him? And his dad posted on this site? This was years and years ago... but I seem to remember him being total douche after not getting an offer and publicly ragging on Notre Dame.
I'm happy to see him do well, and what's interesting to think about is that we only had one WR stick from the '12 class... Chris Brown. If we had recruited him, would we have had the spot to take Will Fuller as our 4th WR of '13? Doubtful. So really, really glad that we (along with every other Power 5 school) passed.
SMU and Kansas were his biggest offers but he had offers from MAC schools as well. I remember seeing Auburn coaches talking to him at school; they might not have offered him but he was on their radar.
He had a very high ego in high school and Lax is right, he was a douche. But his attitude has gotten a lot better since being at BG. Why Notre Dame or Ohio State (Urban knew about Dieter because David Perkins also went to my school) never offered, I have no idea. They might've been skeptical of the level of competition, maybe his attitude, or they just liked other receivers more.
It is good to see him doing well and I'm sure he could've had an even better year if he wasn't on the same team as the nation's leading receiver (Roger Lewis). Can't wait to see what NFL team gives him a chance.
He's still got a year of eligibility left. Played in '12 at SMU, sat out a year due to transfer to BG, then played 2 seasons for BG.
This seems to be a case of an immature young athlete with a fair amount of talent who had an out-of-control ego in high school, but has found his place in life and in football, and is succeeding. So, good on him.
He'd never have been much of a factor at ND, so that worked out for everybody --- heck, we can't even get Robinson and Hunter on the field enough, and St. Brown and Brent not at all.
... and, yes, intensively ragging on a recruit and his family should acquire a permanent ban, not just a temporary one --- some sense of civilized behavior should characterize IE.
There was nothing intense about it. Just my opinion from knowing the family FOR YEARS on a personal level. Not some weak sauce like "i know some people who know the family" that was provided by a guy who lived in LA at the time. I guess if informed opinions are not welcomed here i should stick to other sites.
Nooooooooooo!!!!!!! What we we do without your constant posts ripping on a 16 year-old kid??? Man, I'd be sooooo jealous of other sites getting to read you doing that.
BTW, there are other recruits out there that are A-holes as well. There are players on the current team that are A-holes too. Posters here know about them. You're not exactly breaking news with your "informed opinions". The difference is, others have class about it, and know not to call a kid that ND is recruiting an a-hole. They realize it's just not the time and place for it.
I don't know what we'd ever do without your class...please don't go,
I'm sure there are other players, coaches, recruits etc that are assholes...but i can't speak with authority or knowledge on those. Seems you know them all or at least "people who know them"
You're showing tons of class in the Golson thread as well......Guess it's better to rip on an ND graduate who transfered than a 16 year old kid who had zero chance of getting into Notre Dame in your mind.
Yup. Adult vs. kid. Pretty clear cut.
As for your other comment, never said I know them all. Not even close. I do know of a couple of them, and I know posters on here who know them. The difference between them and you? Class.
Any other questions? (Sweet neg rep btw. I found it....cute.)
More weak sauce.
It's ok to be wrong once in awhile ND...we all are.
Hey loomis...
I'll give you 1 billion vbucks if you don't quote. It's circumnavigating my blocking function.
