Trying not to get too pessimistic over this ... he may be all about the Gators now while the whole staff is there, but who knows how he'll feel tomorrow or Saturday or, most importantly, on Wednesday. Come on Mom and Dad! 40 year decision! Notre Dame is for life!

While I do think Poole goes to UF.

Aaron Lynch did do the "FSU Tomahawk thing" during the Army All-American game, and flipped to us, what? a week after or so? Too lazy to look up lol.

Lynch showed up to the AA game with a Notre Dame shirt on and had been previously committed here. There was an actual point in time where this was the place he wanted to be.

I know all of this.

What I'm saying is, "He did the tomahawk"... even after wearing an ND shirt.

I'm just pointing out this doesn't make a kid a "solid lock".

I agree with you completely, I think the only difference is....

Lynch and Tuitt were at one time committed to ND before switching, then switching back

Whereas Poole has never been committed verbally to ND

I've read reports that Poole was only doing the "Chomp" at 46% so he'll clearly flip to the Irish.

I think he likes the heck outta Alford, and cant tell him no.

I hope I'm wrong, but I think he's headed to the Swamp.

This class is solid as is, but Poole would be fantastic.

And if we regain Darby's commitment, along with Standifer, we will be sick!

Aricle on Rivals saying he's solid with Florida, said his meeting with ND coaches was just ok. Doesn't seem like he's going anywhere.

Again this is Brian telling the UF sites one thing and his dad telling the ND sites another.

For example, dad tells ISD the ND visit was "great" Brian tells Florida "ok."

As a ND fan I would want Poole at ND as much as anybody, but if the kid doesn't want to go there then his dad should just end it and let him go to Florida. Seems like another Landon Collins situation.

You have no idea what they are doing. Like I said, could be good for us or could be bad. Maybe Poole doesn't want to comment about us because he feels that he is slighting UF. So dad is the one that takes care of it. Maybe there is smoke to him wanting to flip but Brian wants to be sure before he let's the cat out of the bag. Maybe he really is sticking with UF. We don't know. But you assuming about his father's involvement in his recruiting as negative is out of line. Especially considering his father should have an immense amount of say in what is going on with his son's future destination. SMH.
