If this was TPs big surprise how could he consider it "bigger than Agholor"? Poole is a great prospect but Agholor is rated higher just about everywhere.

Wonder what happened Sunday. The article above said they were in contact as late as Monday. Be interesting to hear what happened.

Hmmm. I think this kid just really loves Florida. I never really thought we had a realistic chance of flipping him, though I respect both the coaches and Poole for maintaining a consistent relationship. Poole showed respect for his school and for ND by faxing his LOI in early and not dragging it out. Some kids just have their hearts set on a particular school through thick and thin. I wonder how good Florida will be within the next few years ...

He was committed to Florida for a long time and stuck with his commitment? We never took the lead. It's not like we screwed up in some way. We did everything we could. He liked Florida more and how can you blame him? It's his home state, SEC football, great recruiting class and he gets to play home-state.

Never said anything about us overtaking UF or anything of that nature. I'm just curious as to what/if anything happened that didn't help is all.

From the sounds of it and the quotes from Poole's Dad, our staff did great and almost got a Florida kid to decommit from the Gators and come to an 8-5 team in Northern Indianna. The deck was stacked in Florida's favor and from all reports our staff did everything right.
