This game has the potential to be huge for both programs, ND and Stanford.

I don't know.... I've watched a lot of football over my years. Luck doesn't look like all that to me. He's good, sure, but nothing special. He'll be a good pro, but he's not blowing anyone away, I don't think. Reminds me of Phil Simms.

Phil Simms??

He wishes he had the ability of Luck.

It should be a good game, the Irish need redemption after this past seasons beat down.

I can't believe Luck's coming back. Hopefully Harbaugh leaves for the NFL.

WEEI Boston reported tonight that the Dolphins had offered $7M per. That would be tough for anyone to turn down. He's bound for the league in my opinion.

If he cares about his reputation he won't go to Miami, they are going to be third in that division for the foreseeable future. The Niners job has the potential to continue to help his reputation, if they don't offer him what he wants I suspect he waits a year.

I'd take less money for SanFran. Doesn't have to move his family and doesn't have to compete with the Hoodie and the Footie. Besides a few good years with SanFran and he can write his own pay check.

Be interesting to see how he deals with multimillionaire brats as opposed to kids in college. Its the downfall of most college to pro coaches.

Agreed. The opportunity to force out Pete the Cheat again, at the highest level? Got be in the back of his mind.....if only just a little. Niners makes sense.

I can't believe Miam, of all teams, would offer a college coach, who has no pro coaching experience, that kind of money. Didn't they learn anything from the Nick Saban fiasco?

Thanks. Having a long day and feel like an idiot, but couldn't remember where is was this season.

We always end the season in California. So if we play SC or Stanford at the end of the season it's away, and when we play them in the middle of the season it's home.

Stanford loses 3 OL, both WRs, 2 of their 3 DL, Owen Marecic (two-way stud), and starting corner Richard Sherman.

This game will be tough, but expect it to be closer than our 37-14 stomping this time around.
