I love the way he plays. But people need to slow down with the "make him the clear #1". He, GAIII, and Amir all have different strengths and need to be put in the correct position. Running Amir right into the teeth of the defense is not helping anybody - he's tough but not that type of back. All 3 of them have shown how they can help - the coaches need to have the right plays for them.

Amir and GA III can't run between the tackles. Like...not at all, from what I've seen. Thats a bit of a liability. When they get into space, good things can happen. However, when they try to run them up the middle they just seem to get stopped wherever the collision occurs. Cam, on the other hand, will meet the defense and tends to fall forward for a few yards at the least, if not find a hole and pickup more yards. He's the most consistent guy we have, and the best all around RB that can block, run between the tackles (or outside), and take care of the football. He can also rip sure interceptions out of a defensive players hands, as we saw at Purdue.
I saw that during the game and was quite surprised. He was probably filling in for Hardy or Moore.
Hardy and Hunter Jr. according to the ND roster.
Seriously? From what I remember he was running well between the tackles. Hell IIRC Kelly even stated as much in a PC.
did GB play on ST against Sparty?
This was on Twitter hOw many months ago#comeonmanWho knew Cam was engaged? Apparently she moved up here from Texas.... That usually doesn't happen as we know all to well.

Straight Dime piece, and probably a good Christian girl. Dang, why can I not be a running back for Notre Dame

We can probably list 100 reasons.![]()
I was going to go with slow, un athletic, small, short and white

Those last three are not valid on this thread.
Engaged in college? Might as well throw in the towel during the third round.
Marriage isn't going anywhere. My 20's are.
It's weird how some people on here say that being short is a negative thing for a running back, when only two of the top 10 running backs in the NFL last year were over 6 foot.
I would want to be short actually. Big and strong legs, stay low to the ground, and you're tougher to tackle. The only benefit you get in being tall is that it helps you in the receiving game.

Well by definition you bigger, so you can be heavier. That'd be advantageous for some people.
I agree but The Bus weighed 255 pounds and he was only 5'11
Outlying outlier is outlying.
