I want him to go off today. 3 sacks, forced fumbles, tipped passes, the works.

I just don't want him to be too fired up. Personal fouls would kill us in a game this potentially tight.

Great game by Aaron Lynch- Lynch has a super motor-skill- and heart to go with it. Had we won would be MVP-keep it up and maybe ALL American next year. 1st team freshman this year. I know you or your mom may check this site- AWESOME year-the nation is taking notice- Go ND next year- if we can find a QB still on right track-Golsen or Fuller-running QBS-no ints

I feel bad for Lynch. He was super motivated to win this game, and he's no doubt going to catch some crap from Semen-hole fans for the loss.

If I'm Aaron and the whole ND defense I'm pissed at the offense particularly the QB position. I work my a** off during the game and the part of the game I can't control literally gives the game away with turnovers. Since Aaron and the entire ND team are class acts this won't be reflected by the players, but you can still bet they feel this frustration.

Helluva game by Aaron and his fellow defensive unit. I feel bad he couldn't take home the win. The defense gave this team a solid opportunity to win (and did so the entire season) and the offense/ST let them down game in and game out. Keep it up. ND Nation is looking forward to seeing this dominating defense continue in it's Beast ways.

Pretty cool little highlight video. When was the last time we had a freshman playing part time (or any defensive linemen) have highlights like this?

I don't believe that we have had a freshman play as well as Aaron on the dline in my entire life. I will be 30 on Feb 16.

Someone prove that statement wrong, and I will give you 1,000 vbucks.

Can't do it. I think he gets double digit sacks next year.

Damnit, those highlights made me realize that I'm still pissed about the Florida St. game!

Here are some notables in your 30 years, there probably are others. Grant Irons started out as a ILB but moved to DE.

I believe Kory Minor who played 240 minutes as a true freshman earned me a vgrand.

Going back more than 30 years and Kevin Hardy, Ross Browner, and Willie Fry come to mind.

He is hands down my favorite ND player. I will say I was pleasantly surprised he wasn't as bad in the run game as I initially thought he woulda been.

Lock for Houston transfer.

In all seriousness, probably nothing but still not fun to hear.
