Under Armour All-American Jeff Luc (Port. St. Lucie, Fla./Treasure Coast), who's holding scholarship offers from coast-to-coast, spoke with ESPN affiliate Web site EyeOnTheTigers.com about the current status of his recruitment.
"I'm still considering Florida, Florida State, Georgia and LSU. And maybe some other schools. I don't know. I just want to take my time."
Miami-FL, USC, Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, Ole Miss, N.C. State, Nebraska, Rutgers, Arkansas, Clemson, Auburn, and Georgia Tech amongst others have also offered Luc.
Port St. Lucie (Fla.) Treasure Coast linebacker Jeff Luc dropped from the No. 12 spot to No. 25, and also slid from five stars to four. The 6-1, 230-pounder remains one of the nation's most elite players, but a senior evaluation by Rivals.com analysts showed a few small flaws in his game.
"Luc struggled to get off blocks and it was apparent that his inability to make plays versus Daytona Beach Mainland was hampered by stiffness issues," Every said. "The bottom line is a five-star linebacker should be making plays regardless of the opponent, and Luc was unproductive. "That should not take away from all of the positives he brings to the table. We're still talking about a kid that ranks among the top 25 players in the nation. He's still an extremely special player that will definitely see early playing time on special teams and work his way into the starting lineup by his second season. He also remains one of the hardest-hitting prospects in the nation."
Transferring from Florida St.

Assuming he wont be allowed to go to SEC, very viable option would be USF I assume. Skip is gettin guys without even trying
Luc will look at Kansas State, Rutgers, Louisville and UCF. Alex Luc, Jeff's brother, denied reports that Jeff is a done deal to Kansas State. The Wildcats are a likely landing spot, however, as they stand to lose three senior linebackers after the season.
Quote from a FSU site.
do we have any shot of getting this guy?
No interest, legit or not.
^ What's with the attitude lately?
Luc was a 5 star but a 3 star Telvin Smith started over him.Telvin and Greg Ried are from my alma mater Lowndes High in Valdosta Georgia,a hot bed for talent.Funny how a 3 is over a 5 star, just shows how much they know about these kids when they rate them.
