  • It definitely comes down to I liked the "world/setting" more for the other games (I'm more into the wild west, zombies or even ES, of which I usually dont' like, more than nuclear waste land), and didn't like the map of FO3 too much... I def recognize the greatness of the series, even from teh one game.
I don't dislike it though, I 'enjoyed' it... but far less than the other games... it was just 'good'... I'm def not hating... many your fanboyism makes that hard to see... :)
Ha yeah I was jacked up to land him. I had 8 prospects visiting for my game against Dre in week 10, and I think I got 5 commits, and he was one of them.

I'm trying to lock up that other guy now, that way I can relax on DE recruiting the next class or two and go after some un-recruited depth guys when I have the points.
You gave me the courtesy when it came to that safety prospect, so I'll do the same for you: I plan on dumping all of my offseason points on the DE we both started recruiting recently. I know you have to spend points on the safety in the offseason, so I don't want you to waste any on the DE.
Fallout 1 and 2 are definitely my favorite games ever. NMA forums were a trip, but informative. I still check it out once in a while, but it's not the same since, well, basically since Jefferson went tits up and Bethesda bought the whole thing.
Ha, it's funny you sent that link!

I found a post shortly thereafter that describes what happened to Joel's ND offer after he declined Army:

"When you go into the Carousel, you get your first offer, in this case it was Ole Miss with other choices being UCLA and Rice. I was going to take UCLA, so I turned down Ole Miss. Well, when that first offer was nixed it changed the offers out there dynamically making my second choice be Louisville instead of UCLA and my third was Tulane I think. So, keep in mind, you can keep your current job pretty easily. If you decline the first offer for an HC, if you get one, the other offers will change too."

Just seen your message.Sorry about that. I know it might be a little too late but I deleted it.
It is precisely that. haha I hadn't heard the term until I joined up with these guys, but it's now just commonly referred to anything that is just too absurd and unfair in the game.
yes, I rem denson too as for sir john he had Jesus as his avatar IIRC, no? or was it king Arthur?
there was a guy there who was all over that Donald recruitment the LB kid out of Tennessee....and the kid zook stole from us when he went to Illinois...forget his name.

I know you like Joe. I'm just giving you shit, lol.
Thanks for the reps. I sorta stole the line from an old episode of LA Law. They were all sitting around the table discussing the case of two twins they were repping and some of the guys were talking about the fantasy of bedding twins. One of the other guys said, "Meh, it's not all it's cracked up to be." :)
