I think ND has been behind so far this season for about 5 minutes. That was 3-0 to Wisconsin.

They have basically controlled the last ten quarters of football out of 12 they've played. This defense is going to carry them regardless of the fact that the offense isn't the 2019 LSU Tigers.

Among having no physical traits to lean on, having poor vision is the killer.

These highlights are a crazy watch because you can see *exactly* what is getting him killed this year while also seeing what is the missing dimension we saw 2024/2025... unlike past years he is not getting to the second level and bouncing off would-be tacklers / creating explosive plays.

It's why Jagusah was/is such a big deal, folks. Knapp and Craig will play like AAs. Black IS apparently going to be as advertised. So you take the Monster and put him at whichever spot the "other guy" is doing the least (my unpopular idea has been -- ultimate position or not -- at Tackle, and bring Lambert back to guard, but ... either way.)

ND vs Rice was 10th highest rated broadcast - part of having the ND deal is KNOWING you have eyeballs no matter what. More people tune in to see our third string against Rice than they do MSU's next three games combined. You have a season long story to tell to get those eyeballs for six weeks. Nobody GAF about MSU! Edwards came off a 150 yard 2 TD game - we held the team to 44 rushing yards on the day FFS. 20 yard LESS THAN RICE. Gush over our defense you twats!

Because he's standing too far forward. They give coaches some leeway/gray area on the sideline but he is unironically about to get another penalty there because of where Freeman is choosing to talk to him.

That makes sense.
The tweet made it sound like Talich pulled Williams away from Freeman as in Williams was about to do something he shouldn't.
I guess he was, but by that point they'd both settled down and it evolved into a teaching moment. In a part of the field where Williams would get another penalty.

Does the rumor say who has the tell? Because I wonder if its Aneyas. I think it was an ISD pod that was talking about how the blocking was better for James than Aneyas. I think they chalked it up to the line maybe having a better understanding of where James would be.

However, Aneyas being the one with a tell would explain why the running game seems to be uniquely bad when he is in the game and somewhat better for James, even though we thought and have seen Aneyas be better running the ball than he is currently doing.

I think it was Knapp tipping off the play with his stance.
