How soon we forget the SEC crew from the A&M game last year…Hinish tackled from behind to end the game
The phantom one second is 50x worse imo

It’s almost like they don’t want to or can’t talk about it. So weird.ABC halftime laughing it off makes it even worse
The consensus among the CFB outlets was that the top 7 in the polls were a cut above the rest. I agreed with that, but I felt heading into the season that the 1 wildcard that could join that group was LSU, provided that their transfers clicked. They're not going to go undefeated, but they might very well be significantly better at the end of the season if all of those transfers gel.Meanwhile over in Baton Rouge - I gotta say I did not expect this. Embarrassing display by Dabo and pretty incredible prep by Kiffin with a bunch of new pieces.
We really need fresh blood in Clemson for the sake of our future schedules.
The phantom one second is 50x worse imo
Oh, I completely agree with you. I was expanding on your comment, that it took just one incompetent official last year on the game deciding play to essentially keep ND out of the playoffs. No accountability from anyone after. The phantom one second is 50x worse imo
100% - there’s various levels of holding on every play, and it is a general rule across college and NFL they don’t call holding (for better or worse) on game deciding plays. This is in a different stratosphere. The phantom one second is 50x worse imo
I know we are potentially entering a new golden age of ND football, but this sport is entirely broken in every aspect. I’m kind of out on it.
And there it is. Fix is in from money to money. Don’t believe your lying eyes. If you don’t like it, shut up comply and pray to the flock camera
Something definitely has to be done about the Big 10 and SEC conferences in term of their power and corruption but other than that it is better than ever.I know we are potentially entering a new golden age of ND football, but this sport is entirely broken in every aspect. I’m kind of out on it.
It does feel like the B1G and SEC powers (not so much the middle/lower classes of those conferences) get to write their own rules. Bama getting gifted a CFP slot last year. Michigan with this.Something definitely has to be done about the Big 10 and SEC conferences in term of their power and corruption but other than that it is better than ever.
Nobody has a clue who is going to win the ship this year.
Yeah, I don’t see there being a happy ending for Dabo at Clemson.Trying to forget about the scew job for a second - Dabo should be embarrassed. He really got hard carried by Deshaun Watson, Trevor Lawrence, and Brent Venables.
It'll be interesting to see what happens there. They were not especially good before he showed up. About what they are now. Having had a taste, do they want it enough to push him out and do what it takes to set up the next guy to really win? Or are they satisfied with being a fringe Top 25 team that can compete in but not win the ACC? We shall see.Yeah, I don’t see there being a happy ending for Dabo at Clemson.
Luckily for WMU if they win the MAC i think there will be a general acceptance that they beat Michigan. Not like the NFL where the W-L is black and white.Watching the ESPN accounts all tweet about the hail mary with no mention of the clock to try to gloss it over and sway public opinion...couldn't be clearer what they're trying to do. Protect the product they've enabled the corruption of (to their immense benefit), integrity of the sport be damned. Just completely shameless.
Also - WMU would have been in great position to parlay that win into a good shot at being the G6 rep in the playoff - would have gone a long way in terms of rankings vs other G6's. Now any shot is basically gone for them.
Yeah, I don’t see there being a happy ending for Dabo at Clemson.
I agree. I mean the Hinish one stings because it was ND and it robbed us of a playoff spot, but there is at least precedence for holding calls being 50/50 sometimes and very inconsistent. They're also non-reviewable. Manufacturing a second that doesn't exist upon review is unprecedented as far as I'm aware. The phantom one second is 50x worse imo
Agreed. Seems like a good guy and he seemed like he felt like WMU got screwed when he was talking to Lance TaylorIt sucks that Kyle Whittingham has to be a part of this shit. I think Whittingham is generally a good dude (for a college football coach) and unfortunately this is just how Michigan always wins. Embarassing.
